A heart breaking promise

 "Wait . we have to go back for my father ." Kate said to seth after the door was closed .  

all of this was stressing me out  fairly sure all of us were dead . I wish . . I don't know what I wish for . I mean I could totally wish that we hadn't stopped at the dew drop inn but than I would not have met seth . who I am fairly sure now that I love . Which sounds ridiculas being that I barely know him . but I have seen his worst qualities and some of his  good ones since we met so I think I know enough to know I want to be with him . But we'll have to get out of this shithole first.

"Your dad's dead , Kate . "seth yelled trying to lock the door .

He was silent when he looked to me with sadness for being so blunt .

Suddenly there was a bang in the door making me flinch .

"Open the door! " I heard my fathers voice .

Seth sighed than pulled the door open quickly . When dad entered Kate , Scott and I clung to him hugging him .

Seth's voice made me pull back from my father .

"Jacob are you bit ?" I looked down at the arm wrapped around my sister to see it wrapped and bleeding through .

Tears started to burn my eyes as I tried not to cry .

His answer made me break . "Yeah . "Dad whispered in answer .

I looked up to seth who now spoke . "Motherfuck . Motherfuckin' Vampire!" He turned and yelled to the monsters outside the door . "I'm gonna kill every last one of you godless , Fuckin' pieces of shit !"He banged on the door with his gun as he yelled .

"You bet you are and I'm gonna help you do it . but we ain't got much time . " Dad spoke to him as I wiped away my tears .

"Your gonna be okay aren't you ?" Kate asked.

"No , i'm not . "Dad answered making me give and bury my head into Seth's chest and cry . "I've been bit . In fact , I'm already dead . " I calmed now and pulled away startin to feel numb . Straightened and turned to face my dad . "Now . . . I'd say in the next 20- 30 minute will bust in from outside this door and I'll probably turn into a vampire within the hour . Now you have two choices . you can wait for me to turn , then deal with me . Or we can kick open that doo and the five  of us . . . can go at'em , hit'em with everything we have . but if gonna go at'em , we're gotta go at'em now . " Dad turned and looked around the room . "What's this stuff ?"

Seth stepped away from the door around me . "My guess is this litle dive . . has been feeding on biker adn truckers for a long time . this is probably the shipments they stole off the trucks . "

"I say , let's tear this place apart for weapons .so when they through we'll make'em wish they never did." dad suggested

Skip -

I had found a shot gun and some bullets as well as a machete . They must have got it off a biker .

 I stood by seth shotgun loaded as well as a few stakes strapped to my person with the machete .

"Before we go any further , I need you four to promis me somethin'. I'll fight with you 'til the bitter end , But when I turn into one of thme , I won't be jacob anymore . " I closed my eyes as I felt the gaze of seth on me  . "I'm be  a lap dog of satan . I want the four of you to promise you'll take me down , no different from the rest . "

"I promise Jacob . "seth answered .

I was silent to him not answering right away . "Kate , Nevaeh , Scott ?"

"I promise ." Kate answered .

"Scott? "

"Yeah , I promise ." Scott whispered .

"Nevaeh grace fuller ?"

I nod .

"Why is it I don't believe you Nevaeh . " I clench my jaw and shut my eyes . "I'm gonna ask you again than I want you to swear to god that you'll kill me !"He yelled making me flinch . I heard him russle making me turn around . "If you don't , I'm gonna just kill myself right now . " He looked to me . "Now , since you need me , I think you better swear !"

I was silent .

"NEVAEH!!!!!!!" He belowed making me sob out tears wear fallin fast as he now held his gun to his head . I dropped the shotgun from shaking so much . "We don't have much time , So I'm giving you to the count of five . One, Two, Three , FOUR!" He yelled .

"I SWEAR !"I yelled out .  "I swear I promise I swear . " I sobbed out still shaking the thought of doing that to my father made me ill . But I promised and swore that I would . It wasn't like I wasn't already resposible for the death of my birth parents .

"Good girl ."

I bent and shakily picked up my shot gun and turned to face the door . Seth looking to me in worry when I didn't look him in the eye he knew I couldn't face him after this recent debacle with my soon to be dead father .

"OKay , vampire killers , let's kill some fuckin' vampires." Seth said as he started up the weapon he made .
