MOON STRUCK (harry potter fanfic)

Goodnight

 Hermione and Ginny come down the stairs to find all the boys in their boxers. "Woo," Ginny says. Hermione snorts.  "Hello ladies," Draco greets smugly. "Hi..." Ginny says, blushing. "Hello boys," Hermione says in disapproval. There is a moment of awkward silence and staring until Ron breaks it, "Where's Luna?" "She went to bed already," Ginny replies. "Why?" He asks in response. "Ronald, you ask too many questions, she was tired,why else?" Hermione says. "Pfffft, sorry," He says rudely. Hermione rolls her eyes. "Well, why are we all down here anyway?" Harry asks. "I suppose to say good night to every one," Ginny says. Harry nods. "Well, good night everyone," Ron says as he heads up the stairs to one of the bedrooms. "I'm going to get a snack," Ginny mentions as she walks into the kitchen. "Me too," Harry agrees, following her. Hermione gives them a quick suspicious glance then shrugs it off.  Hermione and Draco are the only ones left now. Hermione bites her lip as she nervously stares at him. "What?" He asks, raising an eyebrow. "Nothing, I guess we should say good night," Hermione says, shaking her head slightly to get out of thought. "I guess...." he trails off. "But..." he eventually adds. "But what?" Hermione asks, raising an eyebrow to mimick him. "We could, you know, share a room?" He suggests, smirking seductively. Hermione places a hand on her hip. "Draco, not that quickly," she says, though failing to hide a smile forming on her lips. "Oh, alright," he agrees reluctantly. She nods and wraps her arms around him, bringing him into a hug. He wraps his arms around her also, placing his chin on top of her head. "I love you so much," he whispers. "I love you too, Draco the bouncing ferret," Hermione replies, giggling. Draco's eyes grow large and he sighs. "I thought everyone was done calling me that," he mentions, disappointed. "Not me," Hermione says happily. "Mmmmhp, I guess I'll make an exception for you," he says. Hermione pulls away from him and smiles up at him. "Goodnight, my little bouncing ferret," she says as she walks up the stairs and makes her way to an empty bedroom. Draco follows and goes into a different bedroom.
