Caroline and Stefan were looking at Damon's gravestone. Stefan wanted to cry, but no tears came anymore. It's almost like he was in peace now.
"He died so that I could live the rest of my life with Elena. The woman she always loved" Stefan said.
Caroline nodded. She had felt something for Stefan too. But things didn't work out. They never do.
But she has an eternity to fix that. In fact, she was thinking about calling Klaus. Not because she was desperate but she had this weird feeling... like she needed him.
"You know you'll see him again, right?" Caroline comforted Stefan.
"I know."
