"What the fuck is the snake doing here?", Jae asked, clearly showing his dislike towards Wonpil.

"Hello Park Jaehyung", Wonpil nodded his head a bit in greeting, making Jae turn red.

"I'm not going to repeat myself. Brian?"

Brian looked between Jae and Wonpil with an awkward face. He was clearly trying to find the right words to explain it, without loosing his head.

"Younghyun-hyung thinks I'm a good keyboardist and asked me if I wanted to show a bit to you guys", Wonpil said cutely, making Jae huff in annoyance.

The skinny boy was wearing an oversized sweater and tight jeans. Gosh, Jae thought that he even dressed cute. Who wears a light pink sweater?! (He personally didn't own anything like that, of course. Jae Park was cool, remember?)

Jae couldn't believe that Brian would betray him like that. He knew about his dislike towards the guy, Jae ranted about it more than once, but he still had the guts to bring the snake over. Jae even thought he saw a small smirk on the others lips.

"Please, for all that's holy, tell me this is some 'irritate Jae' move of yours", Jae asked Brian in English, knowing that Wonpil didn't understand shit when it came to the language.

Brian just shrugged his shoulders. "He's good. Haven't you heard him play yet? Wonpil's a legend in his music class."

Said boy just nodded, a small pout on his lips.

"He really is", Dowoon butted in.

Let's be honest, Jae has always been the face of his group. Everyone knew Park Jaehyung. Sometimes people would ask Brian who he was again, going 'oh yes you're that Canadian guy, Brian right?' (of course Brian would sweetly remind them his name was Younghyun) but it was different with Jae.

Whether it were his glasses, his blond hair or his skinny but tall body, people recognized him immediately.

It was Jae's pride to protect his groups image and he definitely wouldn't let this snake ruin it.

Brian seemed to sense his train of thought, because he went serious.

"C'mon, you're being childish. Let him show us a bit at least. That won't hurt", Brian scoffed in English.

"Okay", Sungjin interrupted, slowly beginning to get irritated by all the English talking, "we're gonna listen to Wonpil's playing this afternoon. That's final. Wonpil-ssi, please join us on the practice after classes."

Wonpil smiled shyly, glancing at Jae once before turning around, leaving their table.

If you looked closely you could see a dark cloud forming over Jae's head, making everyone laugh nervously.

Of course Sungjin would play the 'Leader card'.

Brian was about to say something as the bell rang.

"Oh, my cue to leave", Sungjin said smiling and practically ran out of the cafeteria with a wave.

During classes Jae was able to get a grip on himself.

As he walked through the building, guitar on his back, in direction of the music rooms, he made a decision. He'd let the snake play a song or two, just to be fair and then he'd tell him how he didn't fit in the group.

They were a rock band for fucks sake! How should cute, little Wonpil fit in with them?

He calmed his nerves by telling himself that over and over. Wonpil wouldn't fit with them anyway.

All heads turned to Jae as he entered their usual practice room. Everyone expected him to explode right away, but he surprised them by sitting down quietly and unpacking his guitar.

Jae was the last to enter, all the members already playing around with their instruments to warm up. Everyone was here except Kim Wonpil. (Not that Jae cared)

Naturally, his hands began to play with the strings of his guitar, which was in his lap now. He had tugged his legs under himself on the small chair, making him look like a whiny child.

"Okay, before I loose my mind ... where is that annoying snake?", Jae finally spoke, his voice had a sharp tone to it but he kept being unnaturally calm.

Dowoon, who was sitting on the wooden floor, kept drumming against an empty coke bottle, that was standing before him. He looked up at Jae's question, seeming as if he'd like to know too.

"Maybe his professor held him back after class. Let's wait for a few more minutes", Sungjin suggested, looking at Brian.

The Canadian was the only one who knew Wonpil. The two went to the same church on the weekends. Brian had always thought about Wonpil as a very reliable person, he knew he must have a good reason for letting them wait.

"Okay, let me get this straight", Jae stopped playing his guitar for a second, his knuckles knocking hard on the thin, wooden surface of the instrument, "I'm only letting him show us a bit what he got to satisfy you guys, because you are my members and I love you a lot but I'm not agreeing to this even if he is the best fucking keyboardist in the whole freaking universe."

Sungjin threw an angry glare at the younger, not liking all his swearing.

"Is this still because of the 'incident'", Brian asked, placing invisible quotation marks in the air, rolling his eyes.

"Yes it is", Jae nodded, pouting a little and starting to play a quiet and sad tune to help his following story.

"That snake took away all my well deserved grades back then!"

"What are you talking about?", Sungjin looked as if he was about to smack Jae on the head, knowing that a very exaggerated story would come from him now.

"We had this project coming up and the professor loved to pair that snake with me. I put so much effort in that project but one look at Kim Wonpil's oh so cute smile and he got the better grade!"

Everyone looked as if they couldn't believe him. Sungjin shook his head.

"And that's why you don't like him?", Brian asked in disbelief, "c'mon we all know it's not, you don't even care for your grades."

"Well ...", Jae pouted again, looking down, "maybe it's just one of the reasons. But I swear ... no one can be so innocent, so pure and cute all the time. I'm sure he's just playing everyone. I don't like him and I don't trust him. He'd go behind our backs as soon as he's part of the group. Believe me Hyung."

Jae always had a big mouth, never thinking about who could be listening to his words right now.

Behind the half opened door, Kim Wonpil just arrived completely out of breath from trying to get to the practice on time.

As he heard Jae's words he looked down, turned on the spot and left.
