"You did what?"

Brian almost fell from the loveseat he was currently sitting at, a bowl of ramen in his lap.

"I swear it was like Harry Potter. Remember this stuff the evil pink Lady gave them to say the truth? That's exactly how I felt. It was nasty bro", Jae took a mouth full of his own ramen, slurping loudly.

"But that stuff revealed their true thoughts", Brian furrowed his eyebrows, tapping his chopsticks on his bottom lip, "I never knew you secretly thought nicely about Kim Wonpil."

Jae scoffed. "I don't."

"You don't?", Brian smiled brightly, not believing that he had that kind of conversation with Jae.

"Oh c'mon, you guys seemed so down after he didn't show up. Do you think I'm heartless?", he took another bite before talking with a full mouth, "I didn't do it for the snake."

"Sure. I bet you weren't effected by his cute little pout that he 100% did as you told him all those mean stuff."

Jae was so close to throwing the hot noodles right into Brian's smug face right now.

The next day went by terribly slowly.

Each time Jae looked at the clock and realized that only a few minutes had passed his head fell back on his desk with a loud groan.

He wanted the practice to be over. The chances of the Snake being one of his band mates soon were high enough to make Jae scream internally.

As the last bell rang, Jae jumped out of his seat, his hand already grabbing the strap of his guitar case.

He bolded out of the classroom and straight to the music room. Many students looked after him as he ran past but they were used to it. (It's Jae, nothing new)

"Yo Park Jaehyung!", one of his friends, Im Jaebum, who lived in the same dorm as Jae and Brian, yelled after him.

"I can't! Gotta go!", Jae replied in English, which made Jaebum laugh and shake his head.

Completely out of breath and probably looking like a maniac, Jae arrived in the practice room.

"Gosh, did some wolves chase you here?", Brian asked as soon as he set eyes on his best friend.

"I want this to be over as soon as possible!", Jae huffed through heavy breaths.

The blonde didn't even have enough time to get a grip on his breathing as the door opened again and Sungjin walked in, Kim Wonpil in tow.

Jae noticed that he saw the boy for the first time today. Wait, didn't they share a class on Fridays? (Jae couldn't memorize his schedule for shit)

Wonpil was wearing all black today, which was surprising and uncommon for him. (not that Jae had paid any attention to that before)

Together with his dark hair and dark eyes he almost looked ... cool enough to join them.

Wait, what?

Jae felt a nervousness spread in his stomach. His mouth opened almost on its own.

"Wow, you look like an Emo today", Wonpil looked away from his conversation with Sungjin frowning, the older laying a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't mind him. He's an idiot", their leader said, throwing a threatening glare towards Jae. He rolled his eyes, putting his guitar on his lap while sitting down on the floor.
