Your soul is what they think hell wants to burn with
Yet your eyes show the night the stars collided
Sometimes, they show the waters of terror
Still, reality shows the flames that bury within you
Hands, caress the fear of your father
Fists shows those fears on your body
The dark eyes believe it was your mom
Yet the empty bottle shows much more
Sons take after fathers
Yet your brothers are the only ones
Through all this there's one thing that comes after
The blood left behind in the bath
That comes most from your heart
Storms awaken within you
They take over the dark eyes in you
Lightning spurs throughout your body
It's as if watching consumption take over
The blonde one makes you laugh
The red one makes you smile
Throughout all the rustling
The lightning still guards your real
There can only be lightning if it's storming
So tell me, where is your storm?
Where is the open?
Most of all, where's the calm after the storm?
Not every storm causes lightning
But your lightning struck
So with the lighting
Came your deep blue skies
Back to your eyes, they meet mine
They show your soul again
Each and every little sparkle
Each and every little love
They still show you want to dance with the devil
So they do
The flames ignite with fear
The dance shows passion
Most importantly, the song shows love
Lightning is on each others masquerades
Each of the storms are setting in again
Yet a pair of eyes shows the start
While the other shows the end
Bitten into each heart is the blue skies
Even with our lightning masquerades
Maybe these fires weren't the devil's dance
Maybe these fires were your emotions sparking anew
You're father's grave marks it all
It leaves you unmarked, It leaves your past
It leaves a new happy, so why is the storm back
So why is the darkness in your eyes here
Hells gate is near, so with it is your father
Your "friends" are the holy above you
So tell me, where exactly do we come in?
The storms? The sun? A blue sky?
Never, because after your lightning left
Mine began
So with it began the titles
Heaven with hell, storm with skies, even white with black
Maybe we don't need the titles
All we ever had to realize
Was nothing would be the same
Between minds and between hearts
Waves weren't waves
Sunsets weren't sunsets
Night wasn't night
Eyes weren't eyes
They didn't go along with rivers and lakes
They didn't end the light
It didn't bring the dark
They didn't make me see
That is what you brought
You were that beautiful sunset that lead to the night
The night brought waves of stars
That our flaming eyes believed carried our lightning
Nothing was the same
Nor will it ever be
Like our song went with our masquerade
"Let us hang, and maybe one day by our hearts"
Our fires were right in front of us all along
Dying in hell, breathing anew the storms
Masquerades fall off between us
Showing the new waves, the new sunsets
Hearts exposed deep within dark stars
Kids calling out our names
Hearing screams we fall
Finally, the knife shatters the night
Foliage is scattered beneath our feat
Fires die, the holy is not seen
Caressed bruises bleed with love
Eyes meet as the final fire burns
Carried away with goodbyes
Soaring with the wind
Lost but not gone
I know your eyes are still there
Blue skies with no storms
No fire and no hate
No lightning and no clouds
Your blue meets my grey
Smiles carry our eyes away
Sunsets close our smiles
You leave my grey
Only to be carried away by hazel
Waves will never be the same to me
Sunsets will never be the same to me
Night will never be the same to me
Dark blue skies, they will always be your eyes
Love is something you experienced
Within the foliage and the knife
You found happiness, even without my grey eyes
I just want your true blue, to stay in that sky
Your fathers bruises on your body fade
Empty bottles have never been seen
Your blue sky remains within your eyes
As my cloudy grey rains as it watches your blue from afar.
