You had never really seen your life as difficult or anything like that. You kept things simple, avoiding trouble by focusing on what was ahead of you and not getting too caught up in the moment. Study, keep you friends close, stay healthy and enjoy your life. Those were the things that built up your life.
But it all changed when he got into the picture.
Being friends with Aoba had it's pros and cons. Pros being that he was such a kind person, and a true friend. You could always talk to him about anything and everything, as well as just joke around like the close friends you two were. But the cons were that he wanted you to become friends with everyone he knew. That meant everytime he made a new friend, no matter how weird that person was, you were obligated to meet them.
So when Aoba told you that you were going to meet his friend called Noiz, you feared Aoba had befriend some punk with attitude problems. And damn it you had been right.
The quiet yet scary looking German boy was indeed quite a punk, at least by looks. But as your mother had taught you; don't judge a book by its cover. So you kept an opened mind, thinking that maybe Noiz's personality wasn't matching his looks.
Yet, the blonde man proved you wrong. He was quiet, but when he did speak, he made sure to sound as rude as possible. He didn't care about anything, and as long as it wasn't video games, he wouldn't be interested. It was annoying, and the only reason why you hadn't snapped at him yet was because he was Aoba's friend.
You would admit he was handsome. After all, you had to be blind not to see that. If only he didn't have so many piercings, since he might just look even better without them. You once tried to count the amount of piercings he had, but decided to give up seeing as his face wasn't the only placed pierced. Only God knows where else he decided to let a needle stab him, and honestly, you weren't so sure if you even wanted to know where the rest of them were placed.
But the longer you knew him, the more you learned to endure him. In fact, you even started to enjoy his company at some point. No words were needed most of the time, since he seemed to understand simply by giving a glance around him. Damn, even his gaming addiction has started to rub off, and before you knew it, you started having gaming-nights with him.
But the cruel reality was that you slowly started to fall for the annoyingly quiet boy. You found it weird that you went from hating his guts into hoping he would just hold you and shower your face with sweet kisses. The heart truly worked in complicated ways.
You had told Aoba about your crush on Noiz, and after staring at you for a few seconds, he smiled his infamously cute smile. As you figured he was happy that you found someone you were interested in, the closet door had swung open and Koujaku's face planted on the floor. Not only did this made you embarrassed that he had heard your conversation, but you also felt furious that he dare the eavesdrop in a closet like some old pervert.
Spending the night at Aoba's you were able to speak about your feelings and worries. It was already clear that Noiz didn't show much emotion, so it was frustratingly hard to figure out how he felt about you. One thing was sure, and that was that he didn't hate you. Why else would he invite you over to play The Evil Within or any other game and eat pizza?
