The dinner party

I brushed my hair one last time . I was all set to face people . I checked the mirror and to be honest I looked good. I wore a lovely red dress with strap heels and I did beach waves hairstyle. My makeup looked perfect I was wearing a red lipstick with a cat eyeliner . I took few deep breaths and went downstairs. My Mother  as always looked gorgeous . she was wearing a velvet gown with a messy bun hairstyle .
My brother on the other hand wore a black suit . He was the most handsome guy I had ever seen ! I was proud of him . He was handling everything so well . I wish he could just forgive me .

You look beautiful Ella . My mother said .

Thankyou mom . I said with a smile .

My brother pretended as if I wasn't there . I was about to say something but he left .

I sat in the car . Mother sitting beside me and Evan went in the other car .

We reached in 20 minutes. A lot of elite people were having drinks , conversations etc .

The second i went inside a lot of people came up to me and started congratulating me . I was so confused I had no idea what they were talking about . I went to my mother to get answers again.

Mom ! What's happening? Why are people congratulating me ? I asked .

She was about to say something but  Mr agmani came to me and hugged me . He was a middle age guy . He was fit and had an amazing personality. He was my dads best friend. I remember when he use to come home and use to gift me a lot of chocolates . I loved him . He was the sweetest of all . He wasn't fake .

Uncle ! I missed you so much . I said excitedly. And hugged him back .

I missed you more darling . Got some chocolates for you ! He said .

Oh my god ! You remember ! I said . I was so happy .

How can I forget sweetheart. I love you . May god bless you sweetie . And congratulations I am so happy . Handling a company is very hard . But now that you have decided to take over I am giving you all my blessings . Hope you do well .
He said . His phone rang .
I need to take this call . See you later sweetie . He said and he left .

I was so confused I had no idea what he was talking about . I turned to look at my mom .

Darling you are taking over one of your dads company . Congratulations Ella . She said and smiled .

Why dint you inform me about this earlier ?That's not what I want to do Mother . I said .

See you had to do it sooner or later and I can't hand over everything to your brother . Can't you just do this for him ? She asked .

If I am doing this . It's only for him . And stop taking my life decisions . I can do that myself . I said .

Yes ! She agreed.

Is this party for me mother ? I asked Looking annoyed .

Yes darling . She said and she left . Leaving me all alone .
