The list .

I went to my mothers office straight . I wanted to know who shay was . I wanted to meet him again . I have never been so desperate in my life to meet someone . But I just questioned myself . Is this attraction or just me trying to make some new friends?
I was already in front of the door to my mothers office . I opened the door . And what I saw wasn't what I wanted to see .

"Ella ! What are you doing here ?" My mother asked .
What is she doing here ? She is supposed to come after 2 hours . Aghh! What am I gonna say now ?!

"Mother! Umm I actually wanted to see the guest list . who came yesterday for the party . Can you please give me the list ?" I asked her . I tried my best not to hesitate . I just dint want her to ask me questions about it .

"Sure but may I know why?" She asked .

"Umm hmm because I made a new friend and and I wanted his number . I forgot to take it yesterday." I said . What's wrong with me ? Why am I so nervous ?

"I will give you the list but Ella I don't want you to associate with any bad people . If you know what I mean. And I don't want you to have any romance in your life for now. You need to focus and you can't ruin the name of the company or mine ." She said .

Oh my god ! Did she just say that . She isn't my boss . She can't tell me what to do or not to do . She is so mean . I need to make her understand that I can do whatever i want to do . She can't control me .

"Mother FYI I am not associating with any bad people in your language . But you have no right to tell me that I can't date anyone. You can't control my life ." I told her .

"I know I don't Have the right Ella but I am your mother and I need to maintain the name . I don't want you to act stupid again and try ruining it again . She said .

I was hurt now . No matter how mean she is to me or anybody else . But I always expect her to just come and hug me and love me one day . After all that's what children expect from their parents .
"You are mean Mother I hope you know that." I said .

" I don't care Ella . You do remember the real reason of why you went to London ? Be careful with your words and actions . I can ruin you in a second Ella ."
She said . She gave me the list in my hand and left .

I was in shock . I was hurt . I was in tears . I was helpless .

I couldn't say anything because she holds the greatest weapon .......
