"We're going to prom together," Yoongi grins triumphantly. It causes namjoon to raise an eyebrow.
"How?"
"What do you mean how?"
Namjoon sighs, opening his bag and pulling out the flyer.
"It has to be girl and boy."
"Bullshit," Yoongi scoffs, snatching away the flyer. He glances over it, his eyebrows knitting in confusion.
"They can't do this, it's not fair."
"I'm sorry, hey I was planning to blow off the thing anyways, just don't go," namjoon points out and Yoongi shakes his head.
"It's the only way Jimin could've went to it, now he can't. He was so excited," Yoongi groans, glancing over at his boyfriend who was across the cafeteria. He was listening intently to something Jin was saying.
"You better break it to him now," Jungkook says, eating his baby carrots.
Yoongi involuntarily stands up, walking over to jimins table.
"Hey, Jimin I need to tell you something," Yoongi says, tapping the boy's shoulder. The younger looks up and he instantly smiles.
"I'll be right back," he tells his two friends who gave him a look. Jimin stands up, allowing Yoongi to drag him out of the cafeteria.
"Everything alright?"
Yoongi nods as he brings Jimin to their classroom. "What's up?" Jimin asks, crossing his arms, leaning against the teacher's desk.
"Look, about prom..." Yoongi says and at the sound of it makes Jimin start jumping around.
"I'm so excited! Hyung it'll be so much fun, I was looking and found some nice suits and everything!" Jimin grins, throwing his arms around the older in happiness. He was so happy just at the mention of prom. Yoongi didn't want to tell him this but it was better to do it sooner than later.
"Jimin, it has to be girl and boy, I'd love to take you but i can't," Yoongi dead pans.
Jimin immediately stops and looks down, his arms dropping to his sides. "Oh...well that's alright, it's no biggy," Jimin shrugs, a pout on his lips.
Yoongi lifts up jimins chin "Hey, I don't have to go, namjoon isn't going."
"No, no, it's alright," Jimin smiles reassuringly.
"Why spend my time there when I could spend my time with you," Yoongi whispers, kissing jimins nose.
"It's not a big deal," Jimin sighs.
"Bu-"
"Go," Jimin insists, a forced smile finding its way onto his lips.
