CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE |

let's just say things never got better for the ex couple. Their lives were miserable. It was a couple weeks now, the end of the school year near and things are going down hill and it's one steep hill.

Yoongi's dad is sick, it turns out that he had a drinking habit, though Yoongi is never around his dad he never knew about it. He knows what it does to people, high blood pressure and heart diseases and much other health problems, it can do so much damage to people.

The only thing that seems bright for Yoongi is the scholarship he got for basketball.

Jimin on the other hand, well...

Yoongi changes the song on his phone as he walks down the sidewalk from school. The last week of school and he's more than happy about that.

When he glances up his heart almost leaps out of his chest. He doesn't get it at first, what was even going on.

"Jimin," Yoongi says under his breath when he sees the younger boy walking down the street, his hands clasped with a smaller girl's hand. Yoongi clenches his teeth as jimin's eyes meet with his.

Jimin gives him a small smile but Yoongi growls quietly, when they pass he makes sure to bump shoulders with Jimin slightly.

"Hey!" Jimin complains as he lets go of the girls hand to turn and stare at Yoongi. "That was quite rude," Jimin snaps.

"The side walk isn't made for three people to walk side by side, honest mistake," Yoongi seethes angrily.

"Never knew you could be so bitter."

Yoongi laughs.

"And I never knew you could grow a beard," Yoongi says, glancing at the girl.

"Jimin, can we please go," she pouts and Jimin turns back to look at her.

"Sure."

Jimin glances back at Yoongi who is already walking the opposite way at the sound of the girl. Jimin bites his lip as he feels the girl slip her hand into his again, pulling him along.

Yoongi's turning the corner to his street just now and Jimin pauses. "I'll meet you there," Jimin tells her before jogging towards Yoongi's direction.

When he catches up to the older who is almost up his drive way he pounces on him. He practically tackles Yoongi onto his lawn.

"What the fuck!" Yoongi shouts angrily as he tries to wrestle Jimin off of him.

Jimin grabs at Yoongi's hands, pinning them above his head. "Get the hell off of me, brat, go to your girlfriend," Yoongi hisses out.

Jimin stares down at him. "I miss you so much," Jimin huffs out.

"You're the one who doesn't want to be with me. It's your fault. " Yoongi says, pushing jimin off of him.

"I wanted to, but I can't."

"Then what the fuck did you tackle me for?"

"I just... I'm not too sure. I wanted to do something when I saw you and I kinda panicked."

Jimin moves to sit beside Yoongi who tries scooting away from him.

Jimin grabs Yoongi by the front of his shirt, tugging him forward. He meets Yoongi's lips with his own but whines when Yoongi pulls away.

"I need you," Jimin whines.

"You need Jesus," Yoongi laughs mockingly and Jimin frowns.

"This is ridiculous, Jimin. Get up and go to your girlfriend."

"I don't love her."

Yoongi sighs as he stands up. "I can't do anything about that, you're being idiotic and reckless, just like you were when you made a move on me that first night. A mistake," he shrugs.

"Can we just talk? I'm sorry for everything,"
Jimin pleads. Yoongi groans as he involuntarily moves to sit back beside Jimin on the grass.

"I hear your dad's sick," he whispers.

"Yeah..." Yoongi trails on.

"When do you leave for university?" He asks curiously.

"End of the summer."

"This conversation is dry."

"Mainly because there's nothing to talk about anymore. Save the awkwardness for your award winning acting role as the worlds straightest man," Yoongi scoffs as he stands up once again. He walks inside his house, leaving Jimin sitting on the lawn in shock.

"Asshole!" Jimin shouts out towards him and the door opens slightly, Yoongi peeking out.

"Brat."

"He has a girlfriend," Yoongi sighs, flopping onto the bed.

Jungkook is sitting at his desk, eating grapes and Yoongi feels a sense of nostalgia.

Back to talking about Jimin in his room, like Yoongi's crush on him all over again. Except instead of crushing on Jimin he feels crushed by him.

"Like a real girlfriend? Jimin is pretty gay," Jungkook snorts.

"I know why he's doing it," Yoongi says, his eyes staring at the ceiling.

"Why?"

"To please his dad, and he doesn't want to be thought of differently."

"Hey just think of it this way, there's a whole bunch of people in university. Mr. Scholarship, there's going to be so much curious people trying new things and you'll get a bunch of ass," Jungkook laughs obnoxiously.

"Oh god, you don't shut up, do you?"
