End of summer.
Sad for many reasons. For one the thought of having to leave the comfort of your couches that you've spent hours on each day doing nothing in particular. Or the brief moments you spend with your friends.
The times you say you're going to go out and hang with your friends but realize you don't have enough energy to get up for it.
Summer romances as well.
The miserable moments of having to go back to school shopping and getting ready to do work after you forget everything you learned.
The end of summer means the death of all freedom and fun.
The end of this summer also means the death of a father and the freedom of his son.
What a great way to be whisked off to university. On what should be a happy summer turns into a miserable one. Yoongis face remains stone cold as he gets ready for the funeral. His face is dry and no tear streaked cheeks or water eyes. He's not very good at coping with his feelings anymore.
He's devastated as he stares at himself in the mirror, the bruises and scars barely even noticeable anymore.
He's not in the mood to hear people try to comfort him and tell him they're sorry for his loss. Trying to say his father was a great man who didn't deserve this. Of course yoongi's father was great in some aspects of his life and how he lived it. Other parts needed a lot more work.
Yoongi can almost feel all the hits his father threw at him all those times come all at once. It bombards him all at once and he's hit with a wave of nausea and remorse.
He doesn't feel human, for being not able to cry, his dry, tear free face. It's like he lacks emotion and remorse, but he is devastated he can't just find it in him to cry at this moment. It's been a well and Yoongi's finally pulled himself together.
There's a knock on his door while he fixes his black tie. He lets out a soft 'come in' as his mother walks in. She's dressed in all black, she plays with her wedding ring absentmindedly. Yoongi's found that it's a habit of hers now.
"Are you ready?" She asks and Yoongi nods.
He pulls his mother to him, hugging her tightly.
"It's okay, mom."

There is dozens of people there to pay their respects at the funeral, Yoongi sticking by his mother for moral support.
