The Nightmare Realm was doomed to self-destruction due to its lawlessness and lack of consistent physics; due to this he decided to take over Earth's dimension which was more stable than his own.
An AU, visited by Ford, where he had never been pushed into the unstable portal by Stan.
Differences:
-Stan took Journal 1 away from Gravity Falls
-Ford united with Fiddleford McGucket and both created the Dimensional Vortex Neutralizer, which allows for use of portal without risk of instability or connection to the Nightmare Realm
-Ford was scientifically acclaimed and the cabin became the International Institute of Oddology
AU Fiddleford informed Stan that when he visited an alternate dimension with a security guard, this security guard met his double from that dimension and the guard (from original dimension) ceased to exist, as well as the dimension they visited.

Stanford referred to as "Axolotl" (like the salamander) likely in reference to the 6 feelers that come off of an Axolotl's head.
The Oracle (Jheselbraum the Unswerving) in Dimension 52, put a metal plate in Ford's head to block the ability for Bill to possess him.
Oracle claims Bill's "thirst for power caused him to destroy his home dimension, his parents, and everyone he'd ever known".
