Kali and Lucky's London Adventure

Chapter 7

The puppies and twins were scared, being locked up by Cruella again. What were they going to do? 

"Pups, try the Twilight Bark" Ann told them, getting an idea. 

The puppies started barking in an attempt to use the Twilight Bark, and it worked as other dogs started barking, and word soon got out all across London. 

Meanwhile Kali, Lucky, and Thunderbolt were out walking through town. As the three of them continued talking, while a street lamp up ahead was shining some light down on them. 

There was suddenly another flash around Kali, as Lucky and Thunderbolt had to cover their eyes again from the flash. It was revealed she was no longer stuck as a tortoise, but now a golden lab puppy. 

"Now this is more like it" Kali grinned, getting a good look at her dog-self. 

"Wow Kali, you look great!" Lucky complimented. 

"Thanks" Kali smiled to the dalmatian puppy. 

"I just can't understand it" Thunderbolt started. "We've been out here doing hero stuff all day, and none of these London photographers... seem to care" The wonder dog sighed. 

"Why do you want photographers around?" Lucky asked him. 

Kali looked up to the german shepherd, in a way telling him he had to tell Lucky the truth. But he was too nervous to even speak for the moment, so Kali decided to start. 

"Lucky, buddy. You know the old saying the truth can hurt?" Kali asked the adventurous dalmatian pup. 

"What do you mean?" Lucky asked, not understanding. 

Thunderbolt then sighed. "Listen kid" he started. "I don't know how to tell you this, but the truth is..." 

Thunderbolt was interrupted when Lucky and Kali's right ears went up when they heard the sound of barking in the distance.

"Thunderbolt, Kali, listen!" Lucky told them in alert. "There's an emergency!" 

Thunderbolt came up by the spotted pup and put his ear up against the fence to listen. 

"Sounds like a kidnapping" Thunderbolt explained. "Being held in a warehouse. A devil woman! 101 dalmatians and 2 boisterous, american kids" 

"Hey what a coincidence, you guys come from a family of 101 dalmatians and 2 american kids too" Thunderbolt smiled to Kali and Lucky.  

Kali and Lucky both felt shocked at what they quickly came to realize. 

"What's the matter?" Thunderbolt asked them, noticing their distress expressions. 

"That is my family..." Lucky said softly. 

"And those are my siblings" Kali added, in shock. 

"Cruella's got them! Again!" Kali and Lucky then both glared. 

"Cruella?!" Thunderbolt asked, a bit surprised.

"The devil woman! She's the one who kidnapped my siblings and the puppies before!" Kali explained while walking around in circles, upset with herself for letting this happen again. 

"Oh, this is awful" Lucky frowned, looking at his reflection in a puddle. "What are we going to do?"

The dalmatian pup then noticed Thunderbolt, and got an idea. 

"Thunderbolt! You'll help us, won't you?" Lucky asked his idol, hopefully. 

Kali then looked to the german shepherd in that way knowing he had to tell the truth about himself to Lucky, but also that they could use the help. Lucky soon nuzzled up to his hero.
