~×Narrator's PoV×~

You slowly closed the door and took a really deep breath. "We need to make this quick!" You turned your head at Trisha then threw the key at her, which Trisha swiftly caught it with one hand. She grabbed the journal on the night stand. "You sure it'll work?" You asked, worry fills your eyes. Trisha ignored you and was about to unlock the secrets of the journal when they heard shouts coming from downstairs.

Both of the girls glance at each other before walking out of the room then went downstairs as the screams starts to became more audible and irritating.

They saw Cynah and Jane, shouting at each other as Axel is in between them, trying to stop the two arguing girls. "What did I ever do to you?! Huh?!" Cynah shouts back, confusion and anger fills her eyes. She kept glaring at Jane "Give it back! I know you have it!!" The two girls at the side flinched from what Jane had said. Trisha quickly went to Jane to pull her away from Cynah. "Enough with this baby talk. What is exactly happening?" Trisha asked, trying to act like she doesn't know shit. You only remained silent at the side, only watching them argue with each other. You're confused to why you're not helping, maybe because of this weird feeling right now. There's something wrong and you dont know what it is...or maybe you're just overthinking too much.

Jane break herself free and stood there, glaring directly at Trisha "The key. Cynah stole it again from me and its ABSOLUTELY not funny"

"I told you I didn't stole your stupid key!"

"Dont play dumb with me!!" All of the sudden, you're perfectly sure you heard something odd in Jane's voice. Something echoed but its too faint, only sharp listeners can hear. You thought that its just your imagination but still cant shrug it off your mind. There's something wrong here..And you know it

Axel followed Jane outside, leaving the three silent girls inside the living room. "Cyna-" Trisha started but Cynah raised both of her hands in the air, looking really annoyed "you know what? I'm sick of her accusing me for the lost of her stupid—  useless key!! Im out of here!" Cynah angrily grab her things and stormed off. You turned your head towards Trisha with a sad expression "now what...?" You asked. Trisha sighed and hold her own head, looking a bit stressed. "Can't be helped."

"What's with all the racket?" Trisha's mom walked in the living room, looking directly at the two girls in front of her. "Where's Cynah?"

"Heading home" You told her. Trisha's mother became sad "Why? Another fight with Jane?" She asked and the two nod their heads as a response. Trisha's mom sighed and placed her hands on her waist "they'll make up, dont worry. I suddenly want to talk to Jane, being all crazy about that key of hers." She sighed in disbelief then turned her head at the two girls. "Now you two, care to talk to her for me?"

"Sure. They can't stay like this forever, can they?" You gave her a small smile before walking out of the living room, Trisha trailing behind. "(Y/n)"

"What?" Trisha leaned in to whisper something in your ear before walking away. You sighed and followed behind.

Once they're at the front yard, you saw Axel talking to Jane as they both sat at the white railings. "Jane" Trisha called out. Jane's expression darkened as she starts to glare draggers at the both of you. "What do you both want?!"

"We know you're still mad at Cynah but she's telling you the truth. She didnt-"

"So you're teaming up with that b!tch?!" Jane cut Trisha off. This angered you and clenched your fist "Jane " You alarmed, glaring right at Jane. You noticed that she's now breathing heavily for some unknown reason. "Could we all calm down for a minute please???" Axel butts into the conversation, looking really worried. You sighed and placed your hands in your pockets. "How can you tell? Huh?" Jane asked the blonde girl beside you, staring right at her eyes like she's looking directly at her soul but Trisha didnt flinched or show any fear as she did the same to Jane. You imagined a thin yellow thunder between their eyes...

"Its because she's my friend and I trust her more than you do" Trisha 'tsk'ed at the end while Jane clenched her teeth "That key is important to me. You dont understand and you never will"

You sighed, "how about we grab a drink and cool our heads off, sounds good?" You suddenly stole two drinks from the guests who passed by and gave it to Trisha and Jane, ignoring the two complaining guests behind you.

After a bit of cooling down, you asked Jane something that made her pinch the bridge of her nose. "Tell us why is that key is so important to you?"

I already told you, did I not?" Jane sighed "my Father gave it to me as a present ok? End of story"

"Is that really all of it?" You asked to which made Jane glance at you in confusion "yeah? What do you expect? That my key will unlock something so important? (N/n), I use that key to unlock a small music box, nothing more."

Silence filled the air, you and Trisha glance at each other for a short time then back to Jane "you should apologize to Cynah" You slowly told her, making sure that you're picking your words right.

Jane growled "Why does it always looks like its all my fault?!"

"Because it is... Its your fault you lost your 'key' of happiness. Now apologize to her" Trisha crossed her arm in anger while she tap her foot. "Shut it" Jane snarled then took her phone out as Trisha turned her gaze at you, signaling you to go.

'That's the signal'

"Excuse me for a minute" You walk back inside the house and walked a bit slow. You glance behind you to check that no one's watching before quickly running upstairs. You pushed the door open to Trisha's room. You quickly widen your eyes. 'W-what happened here?!'

Black Ink...

The room is filled with ink stains, and small puddles. A black pentagram is written on the ceiling as ink drips down on the floor.

You slowly made your way inside, eyes widening even more while eyeing what is written on the wall beside the bookshelves.

'I'vE fOuNd YoU, (y/N) (L/n)!~'

You heard the door shut behind you, making you quickly snap your gaze at the back but instead received a huge smack on the head. You dropped on the inky floor and saw the unknown person's shoes as they placed the tip of the bat down on the ground before you completely blacked out.
