Chapter 5
Nicholas smoothly ran his fingers through his hair, applying the gel. His usual messy curly locks were now nice and tidy, clean-cut. He slipped on his black leather jacket and hastened down the stairs, his cell phone snug in his back pocket. Without a word, he sneaked past his father's office and out the door. Nathan's house was only a block away, so Nick decided to walk, the laces of his converse sweeping across the cement sidewalks.
About ten minutes later, Nick rang the door bell, waiting patiently. The house was already blaring with music, and he could even hear all people jumping into the pool Nathan had in his backyard. Soon, the door opened, a big grin stretched across Nathan's face. He brushed his sandy bangs from his face, manifesting his oceanic marbles. "Dude, you made it,"
"Of course I did. I told you I was coming, didn't I? Nick Jonas always keeps his word," Nick said, stealing Nathan's plastic red cup full of beer. At once, he took a swift swig, the alcoholic drink stinging his esophagus as it slithered down. "This is quite the party, Nathan. Nice job,"
Nathan chuckled, patting Nick on the back. "I am proud myself. " He said, a content sigh escaping his lips. "We got some hot girls in the house. Do you want to come?"
Nick shook his head and took another sip of his beer, "No thanks. You go ahead. I'm just going to chill back here,"
"Alright, have fun, dude. There's plenty of beer so help yourself," Nathan flashed a grin and walked away into the massive crowd.
One beer became two which became three and on...
Nicholas sighed, sipping his beer as his dilated eyes scanned the crowds. Everyone had a plastic cup in their hand, getting drunk. Girls were grinding on guys and some couples were heading upstairs for a one night stand Nick knew it all too well. However, his eyes soon came to a halt and widened as he spotted Naomi coming over to him. He groaned and licked his lips, trying to remain nonchalant.
"You didn't answer my calls or texts, Nick." Naomi spat, her blue eyes piercing.
Nick shrugged, sipping his beer. "I lost my phone," He lied through his teeth, not even looking her in the eyes.
"Oh." She said, actually buying Nick's lie. "You should have told me, then. I was worried you were mad at me,"
"Sorry."
"Let me make it up to you," Naomi whispered, leaning in toward Nick's ear. Not even waiting for his response, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his neck, sucking on it gently. Although Nick didn't really like Naomi, his hormones took the best of him, a bulge growing in his pants. Without though, he wrapped his arms her waist, closing any space between them. Soon, they're lips met and Nick devoured Naomi's plump, lush lips hungrily, the monster inside him growing.
His hands traveling up her shirt, he was enjoying himself, feeling her moan against his lips. However, he was soon pulled apart from her lustful lips and hit square in the face. Nick fell against the floors, the blood from the corners of his lips trickling down. He shook his head, trying to gain his focus again and looked up to find a massive guy whose muscles were bulging out.
Nick's mind was a bit hazy, the alcohol soaring through his body, acting as a depressant on his reflexes already. He stood up on his feet, swaying back and forth and stared intently at the guy in front of him. "Are you messing with my girl?" The guy shouted, draping his arm around Naomi who looked uncomfortable.
Nick scoffed and threw his hands up in the air, "Technically, she's really mine, but I don't want her anymore. So, you both can run along and leave me the hell alone." He tried to walk past the guy toward the door but was pushed back roughly onto the floor. The guy's condescending laugh filled Nick's ear, drowning out the trash music playing. Aggravated, he lunged himself at the guy and threw him to the ground. After throwing a few punches and receiving some, the fight came to a halt when Nathan pried the two apart.
"No fighting in this house. Learn to get along or get the hell out of my house," Nathan hissed at both of them, but really directing it to the other guy.
"I'll go. I wasn't having fun anyway." Nick said angrily, walking out the door. He spat into the grass, saliva mixed with blood. His vision blurry, he managed to stumble the block back home. Once he reached his front yard, he sprawled out on the blanket of grass, wiping off the blood from his lips. Some party, he thought to himself.
"Are you okay?" A soft voice chimed in his ears. A voice he had never heard before.
Nick lifted his head slightly, looking around, searching for the unfamiliar voice.
"You're bleeding a lot..." The voice rang again...from behind the fence.
