Remember You | Lance X Fem Reader (Voltron)

Chapter Twelve

Because I have been gone for so long, this will be a long chapter.

Lance

"You have to hold on." I said, holding Y/n's hand tightly. Her grip faded out and her eyes closed.

"Y/n!" Keith shouted, picking her up bridal style before turning to look at everyone else, "We have to help her!"

"Wait, where's Shiro?" Pidge asked. We all heard a scream of pain and went in that direction, seeing the black lion, but inside there was no Shiro.

"Where is he?" Hunk asked in a confused way, his expression matched all of ours. I was paying attention to the missing Shiro situation, but I was currently more interested in Y/n not dying.

"Guys, we need to help Y/n."I pointed to the limp Y/n in Keith's arms, "She could die." Keith turned to look at me.

"Shiro's gone." He argued to me.

"Keith, this is your sister."

"Lance you don't get it, he's-"I cut him off by talking again, so far none of the others had helped out either one of us in arguing our points.

"No Keith, you don't get it. Your sister is going to die if we don't help her. Right now that's more important than Shiro!" I yelled at him, taking Y/n from his arms and carrying her in mine.
"I'm going back to the ship to help her."

I ran to blue and quickly left the galran ship, not looking back when any of the others called me. I was going to save Y/n. Making sure she wouldn't fall from the seat, I went faster as soon as I saw the castle.

"Lance, where are the others?" Coran asked.

"They're at the ship still, Y/n's in trouble and I have here in Blue. We need to help her." Coran agreed with me and let me into the ship.

"Hold on a little longer, Y/n." I whispered to her as I picked her up, she was bleeding lots now, the crimson color mixing in with her now white hair.
I ran to the healing pod and put her in one, watching as the seal closed and she started to heal.
With nothing to do, I sat down, crossing my legs and watched Y/n. Coran said there was no way to tell yet if she was going to make it out of this, it was a major wound.

"You care about her a lot, don't you?" I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and turned to see Allura smiling at me, you could tell she was worried by the look that she had in her eyes, she was trying to hide it. 

"How long has she been out for?" I asked her.

"About three vargas(hours)." She replied. I was shocked but nodded.

Her and Y/n were close, this was probably hitting her as hard as it was hitting me. She sat down beside me.

"Allura," I whispered slowly making her turn to face me, "I'm scared." I felt a tear run down my cheek and quickly tried to brush it away from my face but more kept coming to replace it.

"Oh, Lance." Allura hugged me, letting my silently cry, "You know Y/n would tell you to not cry if she was with you." I pulled away from the hug, wiping away a couple more tears before nodding.

 "I don't want to lose her. She's all I have, I'm not as close to the others as they are to each other.  Hunk has Pidge, Keith and Shiro, you and Coran. I'm only close to Y/n. I can't lose her."

"Lance, you must remember that Keith is scared of losing Y/n as well. This is not just you." She looked at me apologetically.

"He was more worried about Shiro being missing than his own sister almost dying.  I had to leave the ship without them so that I could get Y/n here and that barely even worked. She might not make it. He might have helped kill her." I was almost yelling now.

"Y/n is important to all of us." I heard Pidge say from behind Allura and I.

"She was my best friend down on Earth, I would tell her everything. If she dies I don't know what I'll do, she's important to all of us. But you know that if she were here to see all of us getting so sad like this, she'd tell us to suck it up." I gave a small chuckle to Pidge and nodded.

"Pidge is right. I mean, Y/n has a bond with Voltron, she's basically the heart of Voltron. She's the one that helped bring us all together too." Hunk said while standing beside Pidge.

"Where's Keith?" Allura asked I glared at even hearing his name.

"He's in the training arena. He's really upset too." Hunk added in again.

"He's probably upset about Shiro being missing. He didn't even say anything about Y/n when I told him that she was dying." I argued with them.

"I care about Y/n, more than all of you guys. She's my sister. But Shiro is like my brother, I want to find him too." Keith walked into the room.

"You didn't do anything when I told you that she was dying. She might not make it out of this! You were only worried about Shiro!"

"Uh, guys." Pidge interrupted but Keith and I continued on

"Not now Pidge." Keith shouted, "Lance, don't you dare try to tell me that I don't care about my sister. I care about her more than anything!" Keith was yelling at me

"Apparently not more than Shiro!" I yelled in response, "When I told you that she was dying, you said that I didn't get it and that you needed to find Shiro!"

"Guys!" That voice wasn't Pidge's, it was Y/n's.

"Y/n!" I shouted and turned to face her with a smile on my face so big that it was starting to hurt my cheeks. I laughed as I pulled her close to me, resting my chin on her head as she hugged me back. She squeezed me tighter as a sign of reassurance making me smile more.
"Gosh, I was so worried about you." I whispered, feeling a warm feeling in my chest.

She pulled away from me and gave hugs to everyone else, as soon as Keith got a hug from her he left so he couldn't be asked any questions.

"We'll give you two some privacy." Allura said, walking away and being followed by Pidge, Hunk, and Coran.

"Never. Ever. Almost die on me again." I pointed my finger at her.

"I'll try not to." She grabbed my hand and held it tightly, her hands, even though she almost died, were still warm.
"I'm not sure how I feel about this new hair." She was playing with it between her fingers in the hand that I wasn't holding.

"I like it." I gave her a kiss on her forehead earning a smile from her.

She and I walked into the hallway, just holding hands and being beside each other I opened the door to my bedroom and laid down on my bed with the door automatically closing behind us.
Closing my eyes and breathing deeply. I felt the bed dip down beside me so I opened my eyes and saw Y/n laying on the bed beside me, her eyes were closed like mine were before.

I smiled at her before I moved so I was facing her, slowly, trying not to move the bed so much, I pressed my lips against hers. I could feel her stiffen before she relaxed into the kiss, moving her hands so they were behind my neck and playing with my hair. I moved again so I was kneeling, my hands, which were on her back, pulled her up with me and she ended up sitting on my legs, still not breaking the kiss.

Her hands moved to the hem of my shirt, I got the memo and pulled it over my head, having to break the kiss, but then begin again. 

"We should stop before we do something that we might regret." She mumbled against my lips before she pulled away. When I opened my eyes, hers were still closed and our foreheads were pressed together.

"Okay." I breathed, closing my eyes too. We stayed like that, catching our breath for a while. Her hands were still on the back on my back and mine were on her hips, holding her where she was.
"Stay with me tonight?" I asked.

"Of course." I opened my eyes just in time to see her open hers I stayed quiet, thinking of if I should say what was on my mind or not.

"I think I'm falling for you Y/n," She smiled, "and I'm falling hard."
