Y/n

"Allura," I called out, "this fight is different than the others. It's harder. Who are we fighting?" The fight was harder on the paladins and the lions, I was more tired out than I remember being in a fight than besides when I would fight while being joined with Voltron.

"It's Lotor." I froze when I heard that, we were fighting my brother.

"Y/n, we have to stay focused." Keith said, his voice not faltering once.

"Y/n, Keith's right." Lance replied, I looked over and looked at him. His eyes showed that he felt worried.

"I know that this is your brother but we still have to fight." He was right. I nodded and got back into my ready position, clenching my hand into a fist and feeling the connection that I felt before.

"Let's go get him, Lance." I said, my smirk matching his. Lance quickly made Red go faster and we went after Lotor. The only problem was Keith beat us too it and was already going after him.

"Keith!" I yelled, getting a snarky reply from him to all us, he was going after him on his own.

"Keith, we're a team!" Lance yelled. Keith finally started to slow down and all of us could catch up.

We went after him for a while until we were all tire out mentally and physically from piloting the lions.

"We need to go back." I said, I could feel Red getting worn out too, even though he was a giant robotic lion they could wear out.

"We need to get him." He didn't stop, he just followed after Lotor until the gas clouds that were around got so thick that we couldn't see.

"This is a trap." I mumbled to myself.

"Guys, he's going to get us here. This gas is too thick for us to see." I said louder through the intercom.

"Y/n's right, and it's messing with my controls." Pidge added onto my statement before.

"We have to keep going." Keith wouldn't listen to any of us, he was too focused on catching Lotor.

"Keith!" I yelled, he wasn't listening to any of us now, I looked around us but saw nothing.

"Guys, this is too thick it could be dangerous for our lions." I thought about an idea, "I'm the only one who doesn't have a lion. I'll use an escape pod and go to see where he is. I won't try to fight him or let him see me."

"Y/n, that's too dangerous." Pidge said right after.

"Ya, you'd be putting yourself in danger." Lance looked back to me, by now we had all stopped and were trying to spot him.

"Guys, if we use a pod to see him he won't spot us easily. Plus, it'll be quicker and less dangerous for the team too." I tried my best to be convincing.

"I hate to admit it, but Y/n's right." Allura gave in, Pidge and Hunk agree after her.

Lance, with red already being secure and not moving, got out of his seat and walked to the far end of Red where the escape pods were, he started getting one ready for me when I walked over to him.
He took his helmet off and set it on the ground beside his feet, I did the same but set mine on top of the pod and wrapped my arms around Lance in a hug.

"You better come back." You could hear the worry in Lance's voice.

"I will." My head was in the crook of his neck which made my voice sound muffled and quieter.  I pulled my head away from his shoulder and looked up to him.

"I love you." Lance said quietly, I felt my heart skip a beat, it was the first time either of us had said that we loved each other.

"I love you too." Lance leaned down to me and gave me a quick kiss before we heard the intercom again.

"If Y/n's going to go she needs to go now." Pidge interrupted.

"Okay," I put my helmet on again, "I'll come back." I said, stepping into the pod and pressing the 'eject' button, shooting me out of the lion.

"Okay," I sighed to myself before going out past the lions. The fog was easier to see through in the small pod that the lions, I could see a little bit farther than I could before. Out in the distance, barely visible, was a small pod that I could recognize as Lotor. Smirking to myself, I went forward to it, making sure to stay on the side line.

"I have visual on Lotor." I said to the others, I hid myself behind a rock that was on the right hand side of Lotors ship.

Just when I was going to start to the others again, my controls stopped working and static played as interference.

"Guys?" I called out, "Can you hear me?" There was no reply, just static still.

"Hello, Y/n." I heard a male voice through the static, looking up I saw Lotors ship coming to mine, a grin plastered on his face.

"Get away from me, Lotor." he laughed.

"Is that any way to treat your brother?" He smirked at me.

"You're not my brother, Lotor. My brother is Keith." I replied, trying to get control of the pod back, nothing would work.

"Don't you want to know about your real family?" He asked me, "Not the fake family of those fools that you fight with, come with me, Y/n."

"I am never going with you." I yelled angrily.

"I didn't want it to come to this, you've gave me no choice." I looked down and saw gas starting to come into my ship. I held my breath, hoping something would happen but nothing helped, eventually I had to take a breath and as soon as I did I felt myself get dizzy and everything go black.

Lance

"Paladins of Voltron," We heard Lotor say, "I have Y/n on my ship. Hand over the lions and you will get her back unharmed." With that he left.

"We have to go after her!" Keith yelled.

"Keith no," Allura yelled, "I want to get her back too but going after them will put us and Y/n in more risk than we already are. We need to come up with a plan."

I ignored Allura and Keith arguing about Y/n, I only thought about the last words she said to me, "I'll come back."

READ THIS IT'S IMPORTANT

So I have a question about how I want this story to go, should I make it that something happens that Lotor does and it turns Y/n galra (like galra!Keith edits) Or should I leave her as looking human. It's up to you.
