Remember You | Lance X Fem Reader (Voltron)

Chapter Four

(This is a couple days after the kiss)
Keith

For the last couple days in training, Y/n and Lance were acting weird around each other, they weren't talking like usual, and they were constantly close to each other and Y/n even blushed a couple times when they were together which is really off for Y/n since she rarely blushed. Lance even stopped with the pickup lines towards Allura which was extremely not Lance.

"Hey, Shiro." I walked over to him, "Do you know anything about why Lance and Y/n have been acting weird today?" 

"No sorry. I'm sure what ever it is isn't a big deal don't worry about it." He shrugged and kept watching the others train.

"How can I not worry about it? Y/n's my sister."

"Keith, Y/n's able to handle herself if anything was wrong you'd be the first person she'd go to. Maybe something did happen but it may not necessarily be a bad thing." Shiro crossed his arms over his chest. 

"Maybe you're right."

"Exactly, don't worry about it." I nodded and walked back to the training, still keeping an eye out for the two until it was lunch meaning it was time for us to take a break from training and go eat.

Y/n

At lunch when we were waiting for the food to be served on the table I felt Lance's hand brush against mine until his fingers intertwined with mine. I smiled and looked over to him earning a raised eyebrow from Keith and a knowing look from Shiro.

"Here you are paladins, food goo and space juice." Coran set the plates down in front of us.

"Thanks, Coran." He nodded with a smile before he walked to the other end of the table with Allura.

I had to untangle my fingers from Lances to eat but before I even got a chance to the alarm signalling that the castle was under attack.

"Paladins suit up and go to your lions. Y/n suit up and come with Coran and I." I did as Allura directed and went to my room to suit up, getting stopped by Lance.

"Lance, we have to hurry!" Pidge yelled.

"I know!" Lance yelled in return before facing me but I talked before he could.

"Be safe." He nodded and ran off to his lion while I quickly got into my armour and to the centre of the castle with Allura and Coran.

"Y/n, we need you up here." I could hear Keith's voice, in a confused way I responded,

"With what?"

"I don't know but something. Come to the red lion." I turned to Coran and Allura who nodded in response and I ran to the lion.
When I got to the lion the mouth opened letting me into the lion with my brother but as soon as I did I could understand what Keith meant.

"There's something there." I pointed to a closed built in box in the side of the cockpit. I opened the box finding two gloves and a helmet, carefully putting them on seeing the gloves start to glow red and a holographic sword showing with them.

"Allura, what's this?"

"The lion has a sword when it acts as the arm. You control that sword. But I must remind you, when you bond with the lion on a physical and mental level like you to handle the sword, the impact that Voltron gets is also the impact you will receive but on a more human level." I hesitated but agreed.

"Y/n don't do this. It could kill you." Keith argued.

"I can't believe I'm agreeing with Mullet, but he's right. You will get everything."

"I don't care, this is what I have to do."  The lion roared and took off to meet the other lions.
Keith, who had now stopped glaring at me, looked forward and kept fighting with the others until Voltron was formed.

I didn't think that getting hit would hurt that much until we got a shot to the shoulder. I screamed in pain, falling back and holding my shoulder. 

"Y/n, disconnect from the lion now!"

"No, Keith. I need to do this." I kept going, despite the pain I got with each shot.
We still went forward and eventually even beat them, but that was the last thing I remember before I felt myself pass out.

Lance

"Guy's I need help. Y/n just passed out!" Fear ran through me as I flew to the castle behind Keith and when I went in I ran to the red lion's hanger where Keith was carrying a limp Y/n out of the castle.

"Damnit Y/n, why didn't you listen to me." Keith looked like he was crying, he put Y/n onto the ground. I ran up the two, seeing Y/n with what looked like a couple shots from something, one was on her shoulder, one on her stomach and one by her leg. They weren't bleeding but they looked like burns. Then it hit me, the laser shot's from the ships, they would have cauterized the wounds.

"I'll take her to the healing pod." I picked her up in my arms and ran to the pod where Allura and Coran were already waiting.

"What happened?" Allura asked.

"Just get her in the pod please." She nodded and helped open the pod until I placed Y/n into the pod. By now the others were all here too but none of us said anything as we waited.

So sorry this was late, I had my training for regional swim competition and I competed yesterday so I couldn't update
