It was a quiet morning, the sound of the wind blowing the trees branches was all that stood between the fine line of sound and utter silence as I, Rosaru, made my walk to college. Trees, mainly oak and birch made a forest around this town. I lived in a small town on a place called Earth, not many houses were on my street and the ones that were, were fairly scattered along the road like a country road. People now drove by breaking past the line of silence, some rode motorcycles, while others drove fancy cars. That's the thing about this town, it's full of rich people making the community. Then there's my family, a family that has a son who managed to "sneak" his way into this private top-class college.

My grades were high, a straight A student, but in the eyes of my new peers, I'm still just that slave boy who managed to sneak his way in. And that's pretty much what I did but in a more legitimate fashion. My grades were the best in the country, so I was approached by these strange men who asked if I wanted to better my life with the best education around. And me being a newly graduated high school student, I said yes. So now here I am, stuck with these rich snobs who just wave their money around like it's a toy. They laugh in my face and say I'm a dumbass but in truth they have worse grades than I did so HA!

When I arrived on campus I saw the usual group of people, always there by the front gates picking on the "weak" trying to be cool but they were just huge wimps with no backbone. You say or do one thing that might intimidate them and they back right off with a few more pushes. And that's when they are on their "worst" behavior.

One of them breaks from the group and begins approaching me, acting all high and mighty. He opens his arms and turns his body from side to side gesturing for people around to listen to what he soon said. "Oh, looky here boys. Look what the lion dragged in, it's slave boy Rosaru." He then kicks over the garbage bin scattering garbage around the yard, "Pick it up slave boy. That's all you're ever be good at, picking up others trash because that's all you will ever be. Just a dirty piece of trailer trash that will just be a burden on everyone."

"Oh, really Jeasol? You want to make that claim while you have a heaping forty-three percent in just about all your classes? If I were you I'd hold that tongue of yours because for you to have a stable income in your future, you'll have to sell it along with basically all your other organs. So, I wouldn't burn your tongue anymore with what you think is smack. Quite frankly Jeasol, I've spoken with your father and he's not happy with your marks, at this rate he'll give the family business over to said slave." With that I walked away as everyone laughed at him and he sank to his knees clenching his fists.

A first-year girl soon came up to me and stopped me in my tracks, so I looked down to see who it was. With my height being five feet and eleven inches, she must have been about five five or five six? She had long black hair with bangs that covered half her face, she had the ends of her hair grayish. Her head was angular, she had a small nose in the center of her face, a small mouth with soft, and alluring lips and topaz yellow eyes that were rounded like an oval horizontally and the perfect size for her face. She wore a blue beanie that had what looked to be black cat ears stitched on. She wore a red collar with a golden bell on it. She wore a black sweater where the neck area folded down and around revealing her nonexistent, nope that's mean, her smaller chest, it being just twenty-six inches. She wore a black tank top underneath that had what I think was a cat since all I could make out were the ears. She wore a red short skirt with a black belt that had a gold buckle, the skirt going down to the middle of her thighs and using black thigh high socks to cover the rest of her legs. She also had on red leather boots that had a gold zipper going up either side of them. This girls name was Kemi Nashemi.

"It's about time someone stood up to him. That should make him stop for a while. You're the new guy, aren't you? Mr. Losipas, the guy who snuck in with grades alone. You're a hero to all the poor folk you know. Raise that head and be proud." Kemi said and is just grunted and kept walking. I was trying to make her leave, yes, she seemed nice, but it was probably just a dare for her to talk to me. Plus, I don't want to talk to anyone, I've had a bad day to start with.
