You had known Russell for years and you and him had grown to be best friends.
One day while listening to a song by Russell's band Gorillaz ,you heard your phone ring , you walked over to your bed where your phone was sat and looked down at the screen to see it was Russell calling so you picked up the phone and said "hey Russ ! " happily. "Guess what!" he said in an excited tone of voice. You shouted "what!?" curiously and Russell laughed "well i was telling the guys about the movie we went to see yesterday when i was interrupted by Murdoc saying "so when do we get to meet this y/n one huh?" so i was wondering if maybe you want-". Before Russell could finish you squealed with excitement " oh my god yes! When can i come over?!". Russell started to laugh again and said "ill pick you up from yours tomorrow around 1 o'clock ". You extremely happy to finally meet the rest of Russell's band mates shouted "yes yes yes ! Thanks so much Russ!" "No problem n/n " he said softly. "Well i better go now Russ mam wants me to go into town with her , but thanks again ill see you tomorrow" Russell replied saying "No bother y/n bye!". You made a kiss noise and he did the same , the two of you always did this before hanging up the phone. You ran and hoped into the shower to wash your hair. You soon started belting out y/f/s and jumping around in the shower , after a while you hoped back out of the shower and got dried and dressed. You went into your room and picked out a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and a yellow crop top that said "its not rael " on it that Russell had got you to match his one , you folded the clothes and left them on your bedside locker for the next day. You then hear your mother shouting for you to hurry up so you run down the stairs shouting "coming!"
The two of you hop in the car and head into town to get some groceries. When you get home you realise you two had taken quite a while in town and it was now 10:30 pm. You wanted to get up nice and early tomorrow so you put on your pj's , turned on your playlist and hoped into bed. After a while you drift off to sleep.
A/n: this is the first fan fiction i have written so if there is any mistakes or feedback please let me now :) also for this story in the later chapters i will be slightly changing or adding things to the back story's of the band to make sense with the plot of the story. I know this isn't the most exciting or long chapter but i have great things in mind for this fan fic :) thanks for reading xox , till next time bye
