During that year, Bethany has been getting closer to Ross. He's the only one who has talked to her in that year; he's the only one who kept in touch. Rydel too, but only a little bit.
Beth punches Rocky. Total shocker there, right? Not really. And then later Parker gets angry at her. Nothing is going right; she really misses her best friend so she makes the decision to go to her. Ross comes along obviously.
