The girl stumbled out of the forest. She was covered in scratches, from small tiny cuts to large gashes. She had blood and mud all over. She may have been very dirty, but one could tell that she was beautiful. She kept moving forward. She knew if she stopped she may not be able to begin again. She kept going until she saw a small village. A small smile graced her face, before it changed to a grimace. Her adrenaline was fading. She knew she almost made it. She just needs to get to the village.

She was near the village when she felt faint. She was so close. She nearly walked into a cart and fell over.

"Oh my! Are you alright, dear?" the man with the cart asked.

"I'll be fine soon enough, sir," she replied. "You wouldn't happen to know where Hunith is, do you?"

"Of course! Her hut is just over there," he said, pointing across the road. "Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yes, good sir. Thank you," she said, standing up and slowly starting to walk over to the hut.

The man watched the girl carefully. She had called him sir. He hadn't been called that in six years. He decided that he should go inform Hunith there was a girl waiting at her hut. He walked over to her garden.

"Hunith! There is a girl looking for you. I directed her to your hut. She seemed to be injured," the man told Hunith.

"Thank you for telling me. I will go see if I can help her in any way," Hunith told the good ser.

Hunith made her way back to her hut from her garden. She could see that someone had let themselves into her hut. The door was slightly ajar. She only hoped that the girl hadn't made a mess inside.

"Hello?" Hunith called. "Is there anyone here?" She asked as she walked through the door. She kept looking around until she heard a moan come from the corner of the room.

"Hunith, please, help me," The girl whimpered out in pain.

"Oh, my sweet child!" Hunith said going over to the girl. She could see that the girl was bleeding fairly bad, but she couldn't see the girl's face as it was hidden in the corner. "My child, I need you to come over here, so I can help you."

"I can't go any further," the girl mumbled.

Hunith gave up on waiting and walked over to the girl. She started to move her over to the bed that she had. The girl had more injuries than she had thought. There were so many cuts and who knows how many bruises covered by mud and blood.

"Oh, what has happened to you, my dear?" Hunith asked, mostly to herself.

"A great many things. I don't think it is a tale for this time," the girl moaned out.

"Your voice is familiar," Hunith said while looking at the girl's face for the first time. Even though she was still covered in mud and blood, Hunith could tell who she was. "Oh my, Ellie you've come back!"

Once Hunith had cleaned and treated as many of the wounds as she could for Ellie, she made sure Ellie was comfortable. Ellie looked better, but was still exhausted.

"My little dragon, you must rest. With the number of injuries you had, I am surprised you even made it here," Hunith told her. She watched as Ellie nodded slowly. Hunith was shocked, Ellie never rested easily. Only when she was tired and badly injured. Hunith knew she would need some extra help. So, she sat down at the table and began a letter to her son.

Merlin, my son,

I know how busy you are in Camelot, but I need your help. There is a badly injured person here. I have done what I can, but after learning from Gaius you will be able to help better than I. Ells and I are waiting anxiously.

Love your mother,

Hunith
