Yandere Boy

Fifteen.

Naomi- I walk down the sidewalk towards the entrance. I head down the path of school and go to my locker. I open it in the silent hallway. I put my things in the locker and close it gently. I look at the clock and realize how early I am. I grab my donut that my dad packed and head to my usual spot underneath the cherry blossom tree. I sit down and look down at my breakfast. I yawn. "Naomi" I hear a familiar voice say. I look up at see you. I smile. "Good morning." We both say at the same time. I see you smile. You sit next to me and I turn to you. 

Erushi- 'Okay...here goes nothing...' I think. "So- about yesterday...I-" I chuckle attempting to calm myself down. "I...I kissed your cheek." I say. I watch you nod. "You did." You say smiling amused. I smirk back. "I was thinking last night- If I was going to kiss you I was at least gonna do it right," I say charmingly. I gently lay my hand over your cheek. "So- I'm gonna redo that kiss," I whisper leaning forward and gently laying my lips over yours. I close my eyes as leaves from the trees fall peacefully.

Naomi- I blush intensely as you kiss me. I feel myself softly kiss you back. We gently pull away and I look at you my blues eyes searching your expression. I blink speechless and look down. "I..." I shift flustered. I hear you chuckle. "T-that was a pretty good r-redo." I stammer looking up at you. 

Erushi- 'I did it! I kissed Senpai and she didn't deny me.' I smile. "Thanks," I say quietly. I check my phone. "You should eat your breakfast," I say somewhat protectively. I watch you nod. "Jelly filled?" I ask as you bite into it. I smile as you nod and swallow. 

Naomi- 'He kissed me...I kissed him back- He...I...It wasn't that bad- it was actually pretty good...' I think nodding. "Want a bite?" I ask holding the donut up to you.

Erushi- 'AN INDIRECT KISS! I'M GETTING SO MUCH ACTON AND IT'S SO EARLY IN THE MORNING!' I think smiling. "Yeah sure," I say taking a bite. "Mmmm" I hum as I chew.  I look down at you blushing furiously. "You okay?" I ask smirking.

Naomi- I nod. "Y-yeah." I stammer. I push my hair behind my ear. "I'm still just surprised..." I say looking up at you.

Erushi- "A good type of surprise or bad?" I ask somewhat nervously. I watch you take a bite of your donut and swallow. 

Naomi- "Good...yeah a good surprise but like a...a surprisingly surprising surprise you know?" I ask. You and I laugh quietly together at how ridiculous I sound. "Yeah...Yeah." You say smiling. I giggle and hand you the rest of my donut. "Here," I say kindly. 

Erushi- "No-no I want you to-" I yelp as you shove it into my mouth. 

Naomi- I smile and giggle. "Just take it," I say waving my hand. "I'm not hungry and I don't want to waste," I explain as you take the donut out of your mouth and take civilized bites. I watch as some people begin to walk into the school. A couple steal some glances at me. I sigh. "I guess they probably weren't expecting me to be here," I mutter. I feel you place your hand on my shoulder. "They were expecting you to be a complete wreck- they don't know what the grieving process really is." You tell me. I can hear some annoyance in your voice. "I- sorry..." I say. You shake your head quickly. "No- I'm not pissed at you- I'm pissed at these people who think they know what you're going through." You mutter to me. I smile sadly. "You never know," I say. I hear you scoff. "They have no place to judge you." You say. I nod and check the time. "We should head insi-" I get cut off. "Naomi!" Miku calls. I see her jogging up to me. I stand up with you and she hugs me tightly. I squeak. "H-hey," I say. She smiles at me. "Sorry I couldn't come back over- I had to do some random crap." I nod and rub the back of m neck. "No problem Miku," I say. She drags us to homeroom. I head to my desk and sit down. I look down and run my fingers over the wood. The bell rings and our teacher walks in and plops down.

Erushi- I look over to you and frown slightly. 'School is taking a toll on her...' I look around at other students glancing at her. 'They are taking a toll on her.' I think sadly. 

~Time Lapse~

Naomi- I sling my backpack over my shoulder and close my locker. I see you and Miku walking up to me. "We've decided we should go and do something fun- to take you off of all this school stuff," Miku says. I shift. "No, that's fine I just wanna go home." Miku shakes her head. "Stop it- your sad- so we're gonna go and have fun." She says. I look to you and you shrug. "Going to a drive-in isn't that bad right?" He asks smiling. "I...I have to ask my dad." I mutter. Miku smiles. "We'll walk with you." She says as we head. We walk in silence for a little. 

Erushi- I look up at you as you walk ahead. I glance at Miku. 'Is this a good idea?' I mouth. She nods. 'Of course.' She reassures me. We approach your house and your dad is playing catch with Yoshi. I smile.

Naomi- We walk to the yard and Yoshi runs to me. I drop my bag and cuddle with him. "Hey boo boo!" I say smiling.My dad smiles. "Hey, guys?- what's up?" He asks us all. Miku shrugs. "We were wondering if Naomi could come to a drive-in with us- her day at school wasn't too great." She explains. I glare at her. My dad looks at me. "Oh- it wasn't honey? What happened?" I shake my head. "It's not that big of a deal." 

Erushi- Miku interrupts. "People were totally judging you- it's like they wanted you to break down." I shake my head. "People suck sometimes," I mutter. Everyone nods. "Yeah...Sure- just be safe honey." Your father says softly.

Naomi- I nod. "Of course," I say heading inside. "Just give me a second," I say closing the front door behind me. I head upstairs and set my bag on my bed. I grab a sweatshirt and slip it over my head. I walk back down calmly.

Erushi- We wait patiently and you come back out. I smile as I see you're wearing the sweatshirt I let you have. "Let's grab some snacks and stuff before the movie," Miku says. I nod and we head to her house. "We can take my moms truck." She says. "Okay." You say quietly as we walk. We cross through the neighborhood and cut through some yards and eventually come to Miku's house. "Finally." I hear you huff. I chuckle and Miku runs inside. "Stay here I'll be right back." We nod as we stand in her driveway. I look down at you and smile. "Nice sweatshirt," I say smiling.

Naomi- "Oh- thanks- some random guy just let me have it." I say giggling. I smile as you chuckle and Miku runs out with blankets and pillows and bags full of snacks. I smile and help her toss them in the back. We all get in and Miku starts the truck, pulling out into the street. We drive forward and I look out the window as we pass the trees. "This is gonna be fun don't you think?" Miku asks smiling. I nod. "Sure," I say as we continue to drive.
