Yandere Boy

Twenty-Six.

Naomi- I look down at the bowl as I mix the cake batter together. I look up to see my dad smiling at me from the other side of the kitchen island. He shakes his head still smiling. "You're so much like your mother." He whispers. I smile somewhat sadly. "When are you're friends coming anyways?" I ask as the smell of dinner fills the downstairs. "Forty minutes." He says. I nod and his phone rings. He stands up straight and holds the phone to his ear as he excuses himself. "Hello?" I look back down and continue to prepare for my fathers birthday.

Erushi- I walk across the sidewalk triedly. I hold my camera in hand and reflect on my performance at football tryouts. I shrug it off not really carrying, but soon a thought hits me. 'Senpai wanted me to...I need to get on the team...anything to make her happy.' I think with a soft smile. 'Hiroto's birthday is today so I won't be able to hang out with senpai...that doesn't mean I can't get a couple good pictures though.' I think as I come to your house. I see the lights on the main level and I jog to the side yard and sit near the window inside of a hallowed out bush. I see you standing in the kitchen and bite my lip raising my camera. I press the top button and snap a picture. I smile and minutes pass as I continue to take pictures. Suddenly the sound of cars pulling up and adult voices are heard. I shift in the bush as six men walk inside. I examine them all and my eyes lock on one guy who looks fairly young. My age even. 'And he looks charming.' I shake my head. 'I won't make him a threat yet...' I think. I watch him approach the kitchen.

Naomi- "Hey Naomi- long time no see." I look up and smile at an old friend. "Kadri- Gees it's been like... four years?" I ask smiling. "Five." He says raising an eyebrow. "How could you forget?" He teases. I roll my eyes playfully. "Yeah yeah," I say taking the pasta out of the oven. He smiles at me. "Yeah so- I'm here for a couple more days to visit so I wanted to rendezvous with everyone. Tagging along to catch up with you and your dad is perfect timing." He says with a chuckle. "So what's new with you?" He asks. "Hows school?" He asks. I shrug. "Good as always," I say smiling. He chuckles. "Good." He says quietly. "Naomi? It's been a while, come on- give me better answers than these." He says leaning on the counter and looking at me deeply. I look down. "Uhmmm." I think quickly and back up slightly from his stare. "Oh- I have a boyfriend now," I say cutting the pasta. There's a moment of silence and Kadri sighs slightly. "Really?...I'm disappointed." He says honestly. I giggle and roll my eyes. "Remember in elementary school-" He begins. I smile slightly "Oh Kadri, don't bring back old promises from elementary-" He interrupts me. "You promised  I would get you all to myself." He says raising an eyebrow.  "Aren't you a little old for me?" I say slightly annoyed but I keep a light tone. "I'm only 18 Well...How old are you know...15?" He asks. "Sixteen" I correct. "Awe that's not too bad- the problem is- you're already taken." He says I glance up at Kadri. "G-go sit down dinner's ready!" I call to everyone. The guys head to the dining room and plop down in some spots. "Hon- will you grab us some beer from the garage?" my father asks. I nod and set the tray of pasta down. "Of course," I say heading to the garage.

Erushi- I watch you move across your house and I shift to get an angle to the garage. I purse my lips and silently take a picture. I watch you softly as yo carry a ton of beer into the house. I walk back to the window. 'You're so perfect Naomi...' I think looking up at the stars. I stare through the window and watch as everyone eats and laughs. Soon the adults get up and head outside. I overhear them talking about going to the bar. I nod slightly and raise my camera as you walk to the couch. I tense as the guy flicks off the light as you turn on the Tv. I watch him sit beside you. "Too close buddy..." I mutter underneath my breath.

Naomi- I shift slightly as Kadri sit down beside me. I sit criss-cross applesauce as the Tv plays ahead. Minutes pass and I feel a gentle hand on my leg. I glance over and lock eyes with Kadri. He leans over to me and closes his eyes. I lean back slightly but his other hand slides to my back immobilizing me. I jump as there is a knock on the door. "I got it," I say quickly sliding off of the couch. I basically run to the door and swing it open. I sigh in relief quietly as you stand in the doorway. "Hey." You say. "Hi," I answer smiling. 

Erushi- 'This is pushing it...' I think. "Are you busy? Y-you wanna hang out tonight?" I ask tilting my head. I read your expression deeply. "It's my dads birthday today b-" I catch my breath and face-palm. "Oh shit." I snap underneath my breath. "Sorry, Naomi I totally forgot," I whisper looking down at her. "No- no- it's fine, actually...You know what..." I watch you glance over your shoulder slightly. "Please come inside." You whisper. 'Perfect timing...' I think smiling as you take my hand. "Of course," I say back. I watch you pull me inside and I get a good look at the guy. He stands up and reaches for my hand. "I'm Kadri- Naomi's old friend." He says. "I'm Naomi's boyfriend, Erushi," I say challengingly as we shake hands squeezing at each other's hands. We exchange challenging looks and he pulls away. I cross my arms and look at the Tv. "So what's on?" I ask tilting my head with a smile. We all walk over to the couch and you put me between you and Kadri. 'Damn...I didn't think he would make her this uncomfortable.' I hold back the urge to punch him in the face right now. Instead, I place my hand in yours and wrap my other arm around you protectively. I gently kiss your forehead and hear you giggle. The show comes back on and I yawn.

~Time Lapse~

Naomi- The front door opens and suddenly the smell of liquor fills the house. I look over seemingly unphased. "Hey, dad," I say smiling. "How was the bar?" I ask. I glance around and watch all of his friends stumble inside. He nods. "ItWasGreatHoney" He slurs. He looks over and smiles at you. "Hey, Erushi." He says drunkly. "Hi, Hiroto." You say back. He motions to the three of us. "Kadri you can stay in the guest room, now you kids need some rest." One of the other guys says shooing us off the couch. We all get up and Kadri sighs as we retreat to the upstairs. I show him the guest bedroom and he nods. "Goodnight Naomi." He says gently. "Night," I say smiling and turning back to my bedroom. I open up my door and walk to my closet you trailing behind me. I hear you sit down on my bed and pick up my book. I let my hair down and stretch walking back to my bed. 

Erushi- "So who was that guy anyways?" I ask you trying not to sound too protective. You sit beside me and I wrap my arm around you. "Our dads knew each other since high school so we hung out a lot when we were really young." You say. "I can tell...He has a bit of a liking towards you." I mutter possessively. I feel you turn to look at me. I feel your lips on my cheek and blush. I turn and kiss you on the lips softly. I hear you hum and I lean over you causing you to lay on your back. I continue to kiss you and reach over you turning off the lamp. 'The love of my life...I finally have her.' I hear your phone buzz a couple times. I glance over at your phone and read the contact Hitoshi Satoh it says. I glare at the phone and but eventually turn my attention back to you. The phone buzzes again.
