Chapter 13

We all woke up at 5a.m. It was dark and cold. Heavy thunders made me nervous. I thought of informing Jake about my trip, but then thought it was better to keep it to myself.

Clara was in the shower and I was the last person in the Que. In the meanwhile I kept my clothes ready and kept my phone charging.

At last came my turn to have a bath. I had a hot water bath. My friends said that they were going to leave as soon as they get ready and order something for all of us in the cafeteria. Knowing that there was going to be no one in the room, I came out with only a towel wrapped around my body. My hair was dripping wet. As I turned to fetch the hairdryer, the door made a sound and opened. It was Jake.

I stood there with my eyes wide open and gave him real scary looks. "oh my God Irene, I'm sorry. I eh...eh... umm... wanted to see if you're ready to leave."

WHAT! He's coming too ? Wow! No wait... He's just coming to divert his mind...maybe..*sigh*

"uhh.. yes! I'll be down in a moment if you please excuse me now?" I said.

He blushed at this statement and said "Take you're time! I'm just outside the room. Standing. Um.. Waiting for...you......you to get ready. Everyone's waiting you know?!"

I smiled and closed the door. Got into my clothes. I thought it was brutal to let him stand outside, so I let him in.

Chapter 14

{Jake's point of view}

She looked like a goddess in that towel. How her pink cheeks blushed while we talked. Phew! At least she let me in.

As I entered, I could smell a refreshing orange scent then to discover it was her roll on. How her long brown hair looked magical when she blowed it with her dryer. She had worn purple shorts and a skinny white top. She completed her look with her ombre vest.

As she blowed them dry, it came back to her regular but naturally gorgeous curls. Her brown eyes looked so deep while she was applying her mascara. She did not wear much make up like Zara used to. No concealer, no blush, no fake red coloured lips. Irene's lips had a natural pink tinge. She wore her watch that made me look at her delicate wrist. She had great skin and really deep eyes.

Where were you Jake? You never really noticed her. She was innocent but looked playful and mischievous. Her eyes looked dreamy.

JAKE! Stop looking at her! You will make her feel uncomfortable.

Chapter 15

"Jake, let's leave! I'm ready!" she said with a wide smile. She carried her backpack on her shoulders and I shut the door behind her.

I walked behind her as we made our way to the cafeteria. On one of the tables, sat Ryan, Clara, Alex, Lily and Thomas. Ryan and Thomas were my best buddies. Ryan gave Irene a hi-five and she sat next to the vacant seat next to Thomas.

I sat next to her. We all had to board the bus in ten minutes. We quickly had our breakfast. Irene was the last one to finish and so I waited for her.

We were the last ones to enter into the bus and hence we sat on the last two vacant seats which were together.

She insisted me to give her a window seat and I happily gave it to her as I never liked seats which were by the window.
