Moonlight- Baekhyun x Reader

Pitter... patter.... The rain slowly started to fall submerging the shallow graves the young woman had dug.

Her eyes glistened from the reflection of the light from the pathway light that led to to the grave.

Why did this happen? Why... She thought to herself as the rain continued to drench her.

She started blankly up at the rain.... Blinking here and there as the droplets went into her already moist eyes...

Slowly she began to extend her arm towards the heavens... slowly...

Where's the moon? Why does it rain on a day such as today? Is this punishment for what I have done? Why... Why are even the clouds crying on a day such as this? Are they sad too? The girl thought to herself as her arm began to fall at a slow pace...

Tears fell from her already moistened eyes... Her vision blurring as the thunder roared above.

Suddenly as if a light had shined down from the heavens the rain began to vanish.

The woman reopened her eyes to the face of her beloved...

It's you! You have come? I didn't want you to see me like this! She thought to herself, knowing too well she never wanted to show him her weakness.

Baekhyun held the umbrella in front of her and took of his coat and stated in a warm voice, "What are you doing outside in the rain?"

She remain speechless causing Baekhyun to glance behind her at the graves that were filling up with water.

Getting on his knees he stated, "I see... that is why you were out here during a storm. I don't think they would want you to act like that (Y/N). They loved you just as much as you loved them, heck they might have loved you even more! They wouldn't want you crying in the rain and getting sick, now would they? Hurry inside, before you make them cry from Heaven!"

Baekhyun seemed  to glow as he offered her his hand.

That's right... You are my moonlight, the light that will continue to guide me through the darkened night...

A/N: even though this was written in memory of two that were precious to me I ended up using JJ-DELIGHT idea of moonlight.
