A darkness gives light to a single entity
Lying amongst the debris
As the faceless voids scurry along

The bars of a cage locked
The keys held by those in beautiful cloaks
Their eyes frozen by the chill of time

Crying out, yet fallen on deaf ears
Reaching out, yet holding onto only the thinnest spider's web

You stare back,
Unlike the others you have a face
A face they give little value to...

You look upon me as if I am the most important thing in the world
You look upon me with warmth, something those frozen blurred faces cease to possess
