Chapter 1
As humans we crave attention its in our nature. Like newborns needing the comfort of a mothers touch to ease our unsteady breaths. Like a teen searching for acceptance from the endless maze we call a society. Even plants need attention and if neglected they wither and die and leave an unpleasant dried out stem and leaves as if their final resting state was to show the world that their living state was unloved and it was better if they died and withered away. The point im stating is we need attention from an early age and as we grow.
Now attention can be quite difficult for a person who even as a baby her parents didnt even want. Imagine being born into a world and being the most innocent being; knowing nothing and even though you were in your most helpless form, your own parents leaving you on a doorstep in a basket and a scruffy note the day of your birth. Quite harsh especially since it was the same day that you were you brought into the world. Great way to enter the mundane realim of the world. I was never good at hiding my bitter sarcasm.
It was just an ordinary day, the same regular tuesday of an ordinary college student. First lesson double maths a break then computer science and then straight home. Now as a 16 year old you would expect life to be a bit more thrilling and less...whats the phrase? Everything that it is. No exciting events that changed my life; no new guy that will sweep me off my feet and turn my life inside out. Since an early age, i have learnt that if you want to change your life for the better and make it less depressing you need to surround yourself with positivty instead of waiting for a guy to turn up and 'fix' your scars.
This isnt a disney movie or a cliche book its my life.
So sit back and enjoy this book that i call my life story. It can be inspirational, depressing or even lamentable. But throughout the whole thing i knew that i will be happy and it will be all ok even though it seemed like it wouldn't.
