Valerie's pov:
I felt cold water cover my body. I looked up and saw my mom pouring cold water on me. When she saw that I was awake she an over to me and started hugging me for who knows a how long.
"Sweetie I am so happy your okay I was worried sick!" 'mum' exclaimed.
I gave her a weak smile to show that I was okay.
"Come on go to your room its night now and you need to rest tomorrow is such a big day for your brother." I just nodded and trudged upstairs falling on my pillow letting sleep take over me.

Next morning
Still Valerie's pov:
I was having such a lovely sleep when I heard my alarm go off my mom must of set it when I fell asleep last night. I heard a faint knock on my door. The door slowly creaked open and I saw Liam.
"Hey sis mom told us about the adoption are you ok?" he had such a caring smile on his face he was so nice to me. I merely nodded.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I shook my head uncomfortable in the situation. "Come here" I soon melted in Liams arms and with that one hug everything seemed alright.I breathed in his scent which always comforted me.
At the auditions:
Liams pov:
I am so nervous questions flickered through my mind will they like me am I good enough of a singer. I felt a soothing hand rub my back it instantly calmed me I looked up and saw Valerie I weakly smiled at her.
"Good luck!" she said kissing me on the cheek.
"Do you think I am good enough to go through what if Simon says I need togo back in another 2 years that's a long time I can't afford to wait that long what if I be sick what if..."Valerie cut in,
"Liam they will love you. You have such an amazing strong voice when you sing I can sense a great passion you truly deserve to go through if not then they are dum I don't care if they are famous and rich if they say you aren't good enough they need to get their ears checked. "during her speech it touched my heart that my singing made her feel that way I suddenly had a surge of confidence.
"Your right I do deserve it thanks Val." I said whilst ruffling her hair.
"Hey no touching the hair." I chuckled at this-girls.
"Liam Payne your up next." a person said.
I followed them next to the stage I took a deep breath I heard a muffled good luck from everyone well here goes nothing.
After the auditions
Liams pov:
I cant believe it I got through I just wow I am so speechless.
I ran over to Valerie I started jumping up and down like a kid who got a new toy.
"Congrats Liam guess what!"
"What?"
"I know who my real family is and I am meeting them tomorrow!"
"That is amazing everything is going amazing."
Little did I know that it wasn't going stay like that for long.
