I woke up in Niall’s bed, my hair sprawled all over the pillows.  I sat up, and as I did I recognized the head of blonde hair that was laying beside me. I don’t remember ever leaving the bathroom last night; Niall must have carried me here. He was still fast asleep, his one arm was draped over my body and the other was underneath his head.

Trying not to wake him, I slipped out of his tight grip, but before I could take a step on to the floor, he pulled me back in. “What do you think you are doing?” Niall asked in his deep morning voice.

“To get some breakfast,” I answered, “I didn’t want to wake you…”

“You can’t go anywhere until Jason is thrown in jail and executed,” Niall barked angrily, “It’s not safe for you.” His face softened a little when he saw a few tears slide down my cheeks. “Hey, hey, please… don’t cry. He will pay for what he did to you, I promise. I’ll call one of the maids to bring breakfast to us. Neither of us are leaving this room until I know he is in custody.”

“No, you have jobs you have to do, you can’t be shut up in your room with me…” I crawled back into bed to sit beside him. “I’ll be fine by myself. Just ask Melly and her sisters to-”

“No!” Niall exclaimed, ”I’ll ask one of my advisors to see that all my tasks are completed by him. I’m not leaving you alone, ever! I can’t lose you… I just can’t. So I’m going to call a maid to bring us some food and we are going to stay here until I say so. Ok?”

“Fine,” I whispered in defeat. He pulled me into his chest, carefully wrapping his arms around my fragile body. I am broken glass, and he’s the glue that holds me together. After awhile, he called the maid and she came in with eggs and bacon. After I was full, I put the plate back on the tray.

“Alex, you can NOT be done, you only ate a few bites of eggs and a strip of bacon,” Niall said with food in his mouth. I looked at the food on my plate and shrugged.

“I’m not hungry anymore,” I replied. I tried to scoot off the bed but Niall caught my arm.

“Alex, you have to eat more,” he demanded.

    “I don’t want to,” I said angrily.

“You are a walking skeleton, sit down and eat!” Niall exclaimed.

    “No.”

    “Alex… please…”

    “No.”

“Alex, I’m worried about you. I can tell that you are slowly starving yourself. Please, I’m scared that you’re gonna die… Please just eat some more food,” Niall said with a low tone of voice. I felt a tear slide down my cheek because I know it was true. I was slowly starving myself.

I picked up my plate and slowly began to eat the rest of my food. It wasn’t bad, it just made me feel… I don’t know weird. Like it wasn’t right, like I was doing something wrong. But slowly that feeling went away as I realized how hungry I really was.

“Now how hard was that?” Niall asked me smiling. I shot him a look and leaped off the bed towards the bathroom. “Where do you think you are going?”

“To the bathroom,” I snapped, “And you can’t come.” I looked back at Niall and his cheeks were bright red. I smiled to myself, but the thoughts of Niall and me in bed together, made me shutter. Not because of Niall, but because of me. He’s a virgin, and I’m not. Wait a second… is he? He never said he wasn’t, but then again he never said he was. And I can’t just like come out and ask him that… can I?
