Chapter nineteen

I knew who "they" were. My pack!! Diablo, they were here to rescue me! 

Before I had a chance to react the Queen shot up and walked towards Kyle, "Bring her outside" before she stormed off. 

Kyle turned towards me and I looked at him, "What hold does she have over you, Kyle?" 

He warily looked at me, "I won't hurt you, I want to help you, she is horrible to you".

 He took my arm and slowly we made our way out of the room, "She has my daughter" he whispered while looking at me with sorrow filled eyes.

"Why?" we were walking down a carpeted Hall and I could hear the Queen calling all her vampires together. 

"I'm a hybrid. My daughter too. The Queen took her so she could control me and exploit our power". 

I pulled us to a stop, "Do you know where your daughter is being kept", he mumbled a soft yes.

I smiled, my plan coming together perfectly. "Okay, here is the plan. You bring me outside like the Queen ordered. Once I have her distracted you go get your daughter, then you meet me outside. My pack and I can protect your daughter and you, Kyle" 

He nodded his head a small smile appearing on his face, "Thank you".

 I playfully bumped my shoulder with his, "Now let's go kick some bitch asses!" he smiled and I threw my fist in the air, "Whooooooohoooo!"

He opened the door and held my arm tightly. Outside the big house,my pack was gathered and I saw Diablo's massive black wolf in front. I also saw the large group of vampires gathered around the Queen, getting ready for battle. Kyle brought me to a stop next to the Queen, she smiled, "So, I see that Alpha Diablo had come to rescue his dear mate". 

  I looked at Diablo trying to signal to him that I had a plan, but he was completely focused on the Queen, great, that's not part of my plan.  

A growl emanated from Diablo's chest, "Well no need, you see. After my vampires kill all of you, I will strip your dear mate of her powers" 

I looked towards her and couldn't believe it. The nerve of this woman! I nudged Kyle softly, giving him the signal. 

"Oh hell no, you'll have to fight me first" the Queen snapped her head towards me and I could see the anger smoldering in her eyes, "Very well". 

She raised her hand and with that a full on battle began. I looked around and saw Diablo fighting with a buff looking vampire. And I prayed that he would leave me to fight the Queen alone.

I turned my attention towards her and saw that her long hair was floating above her head and her eyes had turned white. I let my power flow, not holding things back, I felt the elements embrace me and I'm sure that my marks shone. I waited for her to make the first move and foolishly she did.

A bolt of thunder cracked at my feet and I looked up at the sky to see the gathering dark clouds there, so she could control the weather. And other things, I tried to contact my mother again and I was surprised when I could feel the wall missing, How strong is she Mother?

I jumped back just in time as another bold came down on me. I felt the power of fire licking at my finger tips and made the fire grow, I shot a ball at her and she swiftly dodged it, She is strong, don't underestimate her.

I ran towards her and shot balls of fire at her, one after the other. Suddenly I felt her power levels increase and saw as a ice spear flew past my face. I pulled on earth and formed a spear. She controlled ice too? 

I needed a new plan and thought of water. I formed water in my palm and let it grow long, like a whip.

I swung it around in the air and stepped closer while flicking my wrist towards her, sending the water whip along. She vigorously shot more ice spears at me, which I blocked easily with my shield. I flipped my wrist again and saw how it came crashing down on her shoulder. She hissed in pain and saw the red blood trickling down her pale skin.

I looked around quickly and saw that the vampire numbers had dropped by at least 200, but I didn't dare look at my pack, to afraid. I need to wrap this up. 

I ran towards her and let air surround my fist, I jumped up and slammed my fist down hard into her stomach, she gasped for air and I drew back my fist only to bring it down again, this time in flames. I continued my beating until she kicked me of and stumbled to her feet, "This isn't over you little bitch" she hissed before she disappeared.

I looked around cautiously for any signs of her, I felt a hand on my shoulder and spun around ready to attack, until I saw Diablo's emerald green eyes. I pushed myself against him and he hugged me tightly, "I missed you". 

I pulled down his head and we exchanged a long and passionate kiss. I pulled away and turned towards Kyle, I noticed that he held hands with a small little girl with dark hair and red eyes, I motioned him forward. I turned towards my mate, "I want you to meet someone"

Kyle came over and he bowed his head in a sign of respect, "Diablo, this is Kyle, he is a hybrid."
