Chapter Three

I was right, today was a long day. The damn teachers were so annoying. They wanted me to introduce myself to the class over and over again. The day didn't get any better when I found out that Diablo was in the same class as I.

Already during second period, biology, I wanted to kill myself by gouging out my eyes. So I just kept my head down low and sketched my way through all the classes. The only class that I liked was art. We started with this project where we had to sketch the person or thing that reminded you of something happy. And of course, I sketched the wolf from last night with the trees in the back and the lake and the moon.

I was so absorbed in my work that I did not notice Diablo leaning over my shoulder,  raising an eyebrow at me. I gave him an annoyed look. He's been around me all day and it's getting on my nerves.

Great, he's a fucking weirdo stalker, just what I need.

I was relieved when the bell rang for lunch. I quickly made my way to the lunch room with the help of the map the receptionist gave me this morning. I was starving. I moaned when I saw they had pasta. I loved pasta. I got myself a plate of pasta and a juice and went over to a table.

Out of nowhere, this girl with a posy of girls came over to me. She had long blonde hair and blue eyes and so much makeup on she could put a drag queen to shame. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and looked at me before sneering, "I know your new here, but keep your hands off of Diablo. He is mine."

She bend down and smiled at me. I smiled back at her and started laughing. I stood up and closed the distance between us, "I won't let anyone tell me what to do,  especially a plastic barbie bitch like you."

She looked at me and the people around us grew quite and looked at us.

"Listen here bitch, you just got here. You are no one. I will make your life hell."

I can't believe this girl, she is hilarious. I struggle not to laugh,  "You're right, I'm no one. At least I'm not a fake barbie slut like you. And I seriously doubt you can make my life Hell." I laugh at her expression and grab my juice and bag and walked out the big doors to the forest.

After that encounter I bunked the whole day, drawing and listening to music. A few times I felt that I was being watched but I brushed off the feeling.

I walked home from school through the woods. It only took me 30 minutes. I walked into the kitchen seeing my dad at the counter. I walk pass him and put on the kettle. We don't talk to each other and usually ignore one another. I make myself a huge cup of coffee and head back to my room.

I throw my bag on my bed and flop down on the floor leaning back against my bed as I drank my coffee. I sing along to my music while I drank my coffee. I got up and started searching through my brushes for the right ones to finish my wall. After a while I got started on the painting.

When I was done, I stood back and marvelled at the fact that I caught all the colours perfectly. The fiery red of the sunset, the evergreen forest and the pale icy blue of the lake. When I was done, I flopped into the computer chair and swithced it on. I pouted while waiting for it to come alive.

After a few hours of roaming the Internet, my mother opens my door saying that dinner was ready. I nod my head. At my door, I kick off my boots and go downstairs.

I sit down in front of my plate of roasted chicken and veggies with rice. I slowly eat my food while my mom rambles on about her day. She looks at me.

"And how was your day, Sinna?" I look up to meet her gaze.

I clear my throat, "Um, it was fine thanks..?".

It sounded more like a question and my mom sighed. I finished and got up. Mumbling a thanks and grab a bottle of water out of the fridge. I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth and throw my socks in the wash basket.

I go back to my room and look out of the big window. I wanted to go down there and I was going to go when something caught my eye. I looked back at the clearing to see that the wolf from yesterday was back, only this time it wasn't alone. And it was on my side of the lake. I turn back and away from the window.

I walk to my computer and put on some music softly, just to play on the background. I put on some polka dot pj pants and change my lace tank for a black Metallica t-shirt. I went to thow my clothes on the wash basket in the bathroom.

When I return I look out the window to see the other wolves gone except for the midnight wolf I always see. I couldn't see what it looked like. But I knew it was the same wolf. I turn off my lights and get in bed and fall asleep peacefully.

I was walking on softness and I looked down. I was walking on the water of the lake. I looked around and saw the shadow of the big wolf. I looked back at the huge moon and stretched out my hand to try and touch it. The soft female voice spoke again, "You are here. I have waited so long to meet you Sinna."

I sit up, throwing the blankets off of me. What is it with these dreams?
