Chapter sixteen

I laid back in bed and sighed happily. It has been weeks since the warning. I paid no mind to it and kept on training my power and fighting skills with the pack. Diablo and I have become closer and Sasha has turned 18 a few days ago. She found her mate and I'm pleased to say that it is Jack, the Beta.

I don't care for school anymore and I've started an art course on the Internet at the local college. Life was amazing. I stood up and went to the bathroom for a shower. My hair was longer and my violet eyes had turned darker, like my Mother's. The gem on my forehead also changed. Now it was a white silver gem and when I used my powers my marks and gem shone a brilliant blue colour.

I slipped under the hot water and began washing myself. I've learned how to communicate with Mother without having to be asleep and I have complete control over my power of the elements now.

I began washing my hair and felt the tingling sensation in my mind. Yes Mother?. The link I had with her was different from the one I had with Diablo and the pack.

Beware Daughter!

I frowned. She has been saying this for the last couple of weeks every morning. 

It's here..

I sucked in my breath and shut off the water. Wrapping a towel around me, I stormed out of the room. Diablo looked at me. "What's wrong?"

 I take a deep breath. "Nothing" I say in a clear voice.

 I can't let him know that something is wrong. He kisses my forehead. "I have to take care of some Alpha business. I want to sign a peace treaty with the neighbouring pack, the Silver Streak pack" I smile, "I love you and I hope you get to sign that treaty". Diablo laughes and walked out of the room.

I went over to the closet and got dressed in black leather skinny jeans and a lace tank that was ripped at the back, showing off some skin. I slipped on my Doc Martins. I ran a brush through my wet hair and exited the room.

It was dark outside and the forest was eerily silent. I sank down onto the ground and placed my hand on the floor, wiggling my fingers to sink my hands deeper into the earth. The closer I am to the earth, the wider my range of earth magic was. I closed my eyes and concentrated. I could feel the tension in the earth and I knew something was wrong. I stood up and walked to the lake at my old house. I loved it here. It was still my favourite place on earth.

I looked towards the sky and saw that the silver moon was now a bright red orb in the dark sky. I marvelled at the beauty of the Blood Moon in front of me. 

It's here...

I wizzed around and my hair flew around my body. I tried to calm my breathing and I focused on my surroundings, looking for any sign of danger. From within the tree line, I saw long shadows and I took a defensive stance and readied myself for a fight.

Five figures stepped out of the trees. They were all pale and had red eyes. Vampires. Two of the Vampires rushed towards me. Both were male. One had shaggy blonde hair and the other had short brown hair. The blonde hair guy lunged at me, but I swiftly moved out of his way. I quickly examined the two men to determine who is the bigger threat. I commanded the earth to do my bidding.

As soon as the blonde haired guy was pinned by the trees that have come alive, I focused all my attention on the brown hair guy. We circled each other and suddenly he pounced. He pinned me to the ground and I barely managed to keep his mouth away from my neck. I shove my body up and when there was enough space, I pulled up my knee and kicked him off of me.

I stumbled to my feet and saw how he charged at me. I shifted my weight and swung my leg to meet his face with a powerful roundhouse kick. Once he landed on the ground, I was on top of him and slammed my fist through his chest, ripping out his heart. I stood up and crushed it. 

Look out! 

I turned just in time to see the blonde haired guy charging at me. I willed the trees to rip him apart and they did. I walked up to his ripped up body and stepped on his heart and set it on fire. I turned around to look at the remaining three Vampires. A smile played on my lips and I tilted my chin up, 

"So, who's next?"

The next two guys charged at me. These were twins with long black hair falling to their shoulders. They attacked me both at once and landed powerful blows to my jaw. I could feel the blood trickle out off the cut in my lip but I ignored it. I commanded the water of the lake to hold one vampire in a water prison above the lake and soon he became unconscious due to lack of oxygen. I turned towards the other and jumped onto him, wrapping my legs around his chest. I grabbed hold of his neck and twisted it. When his body slumped onto the floor I ripped out his heart and crushed it.

I turned towards the unconscious vampire and pulled him out of the water. As soon as he was on land, I was on top of him and ripped out his heart. I stood up and looked at the last Vampire.

I cocked my head to the side and let his appearance in. He was tall and very muscular. He was young but his eyes told me the truth. This was an old vampire. He had long blonde hair that was pulled back in many tiny braids. His eyes were a deep scarlet red. His voice was deep when he spoke, "You are quite skilled, Moon" I pouted my lips at the nickname, but remained silent.

He chuckled a little and walked closer. 

Watch him Daughter. He is very dangerous. 

Mentally I rolled my eyes at her. I know Mother. What does he want?

I stepped back and he smiled, "I'mKyle. The Queen send me to get you". 

He walked closer and I stubbornly stood still and tilted my chin a little to show that I wasn't afraid. 

They want to use your power, our power, to overthrow all Supernaturals. They want to create a world were their Queen rules and were the humans are in slaved to us.

"What does your Queen want with me?" he smiled but it didn't reach his eyes.

 "To talk". 

I took a defensive stance and said loudly, "Oh Hell no!".

 With that, I shot a big fire ball at him and with incredible speed he missed it and was standing behind me. I whirled around and swung my hand at his face. He caught it mid air, "Tsk Tsk, you don't have very good manners." 

I felt the anger boil in veins. How dare he? I kicked his shin and was pleased when I heard him hiss in pain.

He threw me roughly onto the ground and looked at me, "You little bitch" then he charged at me.

 I jumped up and before he could sink his fangs into my neck, I landed a powerful kick in his family jewels. I heard him howl in pain and I turned around and ran. As soon as I thought I was safe, I was pushed into the ground and felt his teeth sank into my neck. The pain was excruciating. I wanted to scream but I suddenly felt tired, "Never turn your back on a Vampire" whispered a deep voice in ear.

 I close my eyes and before darkness consumed me, I send a message to my mother, help me...
