Liz and I started walking faster and faster. We both didn't say a word, but we knew something terrible was going to happen. The guy behind us also started walking faster, in fact he was about to run up to us. I looked behind me again, his eyes still staring sharply at me. We must've ran into millions of people already, saying "Sorry" so many times. We didn't want to cause a big commotion. I wondered what my fellow classmates were doing while Liz and I ran away from a mysterious man.
"Beth! Don't look! You're going to trip!!!" Liz yelled in a toned voice. I looked straight again, I could feel the tears swelling in my eyes. Suddenly, Liz pushed me into a bush, her jumping in too. The man was looking around. We couldn't make a move, though, he was waiting for us there, right in that very spot.
