We both froze. My heart was racing and oh boy, my pulse was racing. Liz looked my way, as I started to crouch down. "Please, please, Lord, help us.." I muttered, tears in my eyes. Liz just stood there, her eyes closed, breathing softly. We stayed in the same place for 15 minutes at the least. Then we kept going. We eventually found a small dirt path, and along the way, there he was. The man. But he had someone with him. Liz sighed and looked at me, tears slowly falling down. I nodded, showing her we would be okay. The man had a young boy in his hands. He was dead. "Who is that and who are you?" I demanded. "Oh, him? Don't you recognize him? It's your little friend, Connor Franta." Liz and I both screamed. Connor, why him? The carefree kid I deeply loved in my heart, he's gone. My heart sank. Liz and I ran away, the man following us. "My life is a mess," Liz muttered.
