Bad Storm

You were sitting at home, having a cup of coffee...the TV was turned on, they said today was supposed to be a severe weather day...you were the kind of person who hated storms...

You grabbed your phone and dialed Jimin's number...you put it on speaker and waited for him to pick up...

"Hello?" Jimin spoke...

"Hey Jimin..." You said, a bit nervous...

"Hey Y/N...what's up?" Jimin asked...

"Nothing much...just sitting at home, watching the weather..." You sighed...

"I heard it's supposed to be severe over where you are...including to your mother's area to..." Jimin explained...

"I'll be fine, but I don't know about my mom...I'm worried about her..." You explained...

"It'll be okay, I promise...well I got to go...my mom is calling me for dinner..." Jimin said...

"Okay...bye Jimin..." You smiled...

"Bye Y/N..." Jimin replied then hung up...

You put your phone on the charger and continued watching the weather...

~10 minutes later~

You were scrolling through Facebook, when suddenly you heard the Emergency Broadcast System go off...you knew what this meant...you quickly put on your shoes and grab your phone...

You called Jimin once again and he picked up...

"Y/N...what's going on?" Jimin asked...

"They just put out a tornado warning for my area...I'm really scared..." You were on the verge of tears...

"It'll be okay, just stay on the phone..." Jimin said...

You finally got down to your basement and turned on the TV...

"What's going on right now?" Jimin asked...

"They said there is a tornado on the ground right now...and it's heading towards my neighborhood..." You explained...

"Cover yourself up...it'll be okay..." Jimin is worried...

"Oh god Jimin, it's right on top of my house!" You yelled...

"I'm on my way, text me when it's gone! Okay?" Jimin yelled so you could hear him...

"Okay!" You yelled back...

Suddenly the call got cut off...you screamed as the tornado passed, you heard glass break around you...after about a few minutes, the tornado moved out of your neighborhood...

You got up and looked to see if there were any injuries...you had a few cuts, bruises and scratches, and that's it...you walk out of the basement and saw your neighborhood destroyed...you looked to see where the storm went, you knew it was headed towards your mom's house...

You pulled out your phone and texted Jimin...

~Y is you, J is Jimin~

Y: Jimin, it passed...

J: That's good I'm on my way

Y: It's headed towards my mom's house! I'm scared...

J: Once I get there, I'll drive u to your mother's neighborhood...

Y: Okay, see u soon...

~Your mom's POV~

I was sitting in the chair, reading a book...when suddenly the wind chimes outside my house started going crazy...I looked at the TV and saw the called for a tornadic supercell coming this way, with a tornado on the ground...then, then sirens went off...I quickly put on my shoes and Mose, my golden retriever went down stairs...but the sirens went for only a seconds, then the tornado came through as I was almost completely down stairs...then a shelf collapsed on top of me...

Mose stayed by my side as the tornado passed...I felt my head start bleeding and my wrist went limp...the tornado passed after about a minute...

~Author's POV~

I saw Jimin pulled up in his car and I got in...

"Are you okay?" He asked...

"I'm fine, only a few cuts and scratches, but that's all..." You explained...

He then drove all the way to your mom's neighborhood...

~After about ten minutes...~

You and Jimin arrived in the neighborhood, and drove slowly to your mom's house...

You looked over and saw and father with his wife and daughter...which reminded you of what happened during your childhood...

You saw your mom's house and got out and ran up to it...

"Y/N! Wait!" Jimin yelled out to you...

You and Jimin went inside the destroyed house and tried to find your mom...

"MOM!" You yelled through the rubble...

"Here's a flashlight..." Jimin tossed you one...

You turned it on and continued with Jimin right behind you...

"MOM!" You yelled once again...

You heard Mose barking and you both climbed down, you saw a shelf on top of her and lifted it up gently...suddenly the TV that was attached to the wall fell down and you both covered up your mom...

"Let's go..." You said...

You got your mother out of the house...

"Jimin! Grab Mose for me, he's a little shaken up!" Your mother yelled...

"I'll get him!" Jimin yelled...

Jimin got out with Mose...just before the house collapsed...

Your mother was on a gurney, being rolled to a shelter to be treated...

You walked over there with the paramedics and your mom...

"I'm sorry I wasn't there..." You said and you took a clean cloth and put some water on it and cleaned some blood off the side of your mom's head...

"Y/N...stop blaming yourself...I'll be fine...now go with Jimin...he's waiting for you..." Your mother said...

You kissed the top of your mother's head and left...

"It'll be okay Y/N..." Jimin says, trying to comfort you...

"Now what am I supposed to do, I have no home..." You were scared...

"You can live with me..." Jimin suggests...

"Really? I don't wanna be a burden..." You wanted to check to make sure he's okay...

"You're not a burden..." Jimin whispers...

He suddenly kissed you and you were shocked...but kissed back...

"I love you so much Y/N..." Jimin whispers...

"I love you too..." You replied...

~That night, you got into Jimin's car with Mose and lived with him ever since...but returning Mose to your mom after she got better and found a new house...~
