When Annie finished her homework, she instantly did her chores. Annie loved working on the farm but she never liked cleaning up the manure from the stables. Annie's family farm was quiet and peaceful. No loud cars zooming past or crimes. It was quite fun being on the farm. Playing with sheep and dancing around with the dog.

Annie has been living in the country since she was a kid, and on numerous occasions, she went missing and was later found in the fields with the sheep. Annie looked through her phone, checking off all the chores she had done. The last one was to head to her Aunt's bakery and pick up some loaves of bread. Annie put her phone in her pocket and ran outside and down the dirt path, to her aunt's bakery. As Annie walked in, she saw a familiar face. Messy brown hair, bright green eyes. It was Fred, buying a bunch of red velvet cupcakes for one of his numerous girlfriends. Annie rolled her eyes. It had only been a few days since they broke up. It really hurt to see him buying stuff for a girl who wasn't her.

Annie waited in line, feeling quite nervous since Fred was deciding to stick around and not leave. Fred walks towards her and Annie stiffened up. What was she meant to say?

'Hi, Annie.' Fred said.

'Hey.' Annie mumbled back, 'So what did you buy?'

Annie already knew what he had bought but she just wanted to hear it come from him.

'Just cupcakes.' He said.

Each cupcake had a letter. The cupcakes spelt out. I LOVE YOU TYRA. Annie sighed as she picked up her bread. She left Fred without saying good buy. Sometimes, she wondered why Fred had to stoop so low?
