The rain was falling hard on the Pearl. A small storm had ruptured over us as we sailed to find the Dutchman. Jack was standing behind the wheel, steering the ship. I was in my normal spot during a storm, frightfully gripping Jack's arm for dear life. "Jack, does she do this all the time?" Will muttered. Jack faced Will. "William, you and I both know that she's a strong girl. But I guess her fear of storms balances it out, right mate?" I wasn't even paying attention to their conversation, for I was mainly focusing on the ever coming storm clouds. "What I mean is, no offense Jack, why does she..." Will seemed to have lost his thought. "Cling to me?" Jack interrupted. Will nodded. "Well, we tried leaving her with Gibbs or another member of the crew, but she'd just yell at them and get really freaked out." Will glanced at me, continuing his little conversation with Jack. "You better take care of her Jack." Will threatened. Jack rolled his eyes at Will. "Young Mr. Turner. Why else do you think I even let her hold on to me while I'm steering the ship? Hm?" Will was silent. He already knew the answer. "I know you don't trust or like me and believe me, the feeling's mutual..." Jack hinted. "But think about it, mate. She feels the same way you do about me and her, but with Elizabeth and you." Will crossed his arms. "I just don't want to lose her, like I lost my father." Will commented sadly. Jack put a hand on Will's shoulder. "That's one promise that I can keep." Jack smiled. Will's frown slightly turned up. "Now that you're both done talking, can we PLEASE put our attention on this BLOODY STORM?" I shouted, unknowingly ruining the moment.

Jack looked through his spyglass. "There's the Dutchman." He confirmed, handing it to Will so he could see. "She doesn't look like much." He noted. "Neither do you." Jack grunted, taking back his spyglass. "Don't underestimate her." I squinted at the ship. "Looks like it's all torn up and destroyed, like a sailing death ship." I murmured. Jack elbowed Gibbs. "Must've run afoul of the reef." He wheezed. I looked at Jack suspiciously, but he only shrugged it off. "Alright, what's your plan?" I asked Will. "I climb on board and search for your bloody key." He directed his answer to Jack, angrily. "Woah Will, watch your language." I chuckled. Will's face brightened only a bit before Jack asked him a question. "And if there are crewmen?" Will turned to him. "I cut down anyone in my path." He answered sharply. "I like it." Jack agreed, clearly oblivious to Will's cold tone. "Simple, easy to remember." He added. Both of them turned to me, waiting for my opinion. "Sounds like my sort of plan. I'm all for it. On one condition." I stepped towards Will and poked his chest. "Come. Back. Alive." I threatened. He merely chuckled and pulled me into a hug. "I promise." He agreed. I nodded and pulled away from the hug. I stood next to Jack, who had just a tint of guilt on his face.

Will stepped into the dinghy and was lowered down into the sea. "If you get caught!" Jack shouted down to him. "Tell them Jack Sparrow sent you to settle his debt! Might save your life!" I cupped my hands around my mouth. "Don't you dare die Will!" I yelled. He waved at me. "I won't! Promise!" He yelled back, continuing to row to the Dutchman.  Jack turned to me. "Um Jessie... there might be..uh.." He fumbled for his words. "I know." I stated simply. Jack stared at me dumbfounded. "Know what?" He inquired. I leaned back on the railing. "I know what you did." I responded nonchalantly. Jack raised an eyebrow at me. "You're ok with me handing your brother to Davy Jones?" My eyes gazed at the ground. "It might be good for him..." I said softly. Now Jack was really confused. "Why?" I didn't look up as I spoke. "Dad is on there." A moment of silence. "I know it's wrong to send him, but I thought about how much I really wanted him to meet Dad." I continued, my eyes starting to water. "I got a message from Bootstrap a while ago, back when I was still living with Captain Teague..." Jack winced at the mention of his father. "He told me what had happened. That's how I knew about the mutiny and everything. That's how I knew about Barbossa." I trembled as I went on with my explanation. "But then, he told me that he chose to serve Jones. He told me to give his regards to Will, should I see him. But now I just-" I was interrupted by Jack's arms embracing me. I sobbed into his chest, letting him calm me down. He held me and stroked my hair. "It's alright, love." He soothed. I hadn't cried like this in a long time. It felt good to get it all out, what I had been keeping pent up inside me for years. Jack rubbed my back as my crying came to a stop and I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck. "Thanks, Jack." I sniffled, regaining my senses. He continued to run his fingers through my hair. "Anytime, love."
