Step 09: To start off with creating the gif, go to Windows >> Timeline on the Menu Bar.

Step 10: The timeline menu will pop up on the bottom of your work-space. Click on Create Frame Animation.

Step 11: You'll now see the thumbnail of a single frame. Note that: The layers in the Frame Animation Timeline are called Frames.

Step 12: Since, the gif we're making is a short one, we only need two frames. Hence, click on the Duplicate Selected Frame toggle on the panel as given below and now you'll see that you have two frames.
