I shouldn't have said that.

I should not have said that.

Should not have said that.

The last time I had an encounter with Sean, I think I pissed him off. I should not have added the bullying part. He just left me in the rain, soaking wet.

Whatever. Why should I care?

I was on my bed for the past 15 minutes thinking about yesterday. I hardly got any sleep. My life suddenly got so complicated. Sean kind of unlocked my heart and threw away the key. Now it's all bare and open.

We had two days holiday to celebrate the birth anniversary of the founder of our school. The school had organized a picnic in the outskirts. Everyone was so excited and had been preparing for this day for a long time. I realised I could do either of the two, brood over what has been going on in my life or give myself a break and enjoy the day. I decided to go with the latter. I got out of my bed, took a shower, brushed my teeth and then changed. I wore a cute black crop top and paired it with white ripped jeans. I arranged all my essentials in my bag and got out of my house. Cara and Thalia were waiting outside for me.

"You look damn fine girl." Thalia remarked with a smile.

"So do you." I replied and went ahead to hug her.

Cara drove us to school where all the students were supposed to assemble. Then they were to board the school bus which would take us to the picnic spot.

"I'm soooooo excited for this! I needed a break from school life." exclaimed Cara while parking safely.

I got out of the car and saw Alex approaching me. John, Rodrick and the rest of them were sitting on a nearby bench. My eyes automatically started looking for Sean but I couldn't see him anywhere.

"You look all ready for this picnic Sam." said Alex cheerfully.

"Yup. Bright day. All my close friends with me. What could possibly go wrong?" I said, taking in the morning fresh air.

Alex was about to say something when a loud scream nearly deafened us.

"Oh my god oh my god Sean!" exclaimed Christina, one of Sean's dumb fan girls.

A bunch of other girls gathered around the parking lot to witness Sean in his sports car approaching us. He parked his car and got out, paying zero attention to the thirsty gazes of his fans. He was looking exceptionally good. He had a sexy leather jacket on and a pair of shades which he opened and slid inside his pocket.

I was confused whether I should say hi or not. I still felt pretty bad about what I said the other day and wanted him to know that I didn't mean it.

"Hey bro. Excited for today?" Sean asked Alex. He did not even look at me once.

"Absolutely. I'm guaranteed you'll have a good time with all these girls running around you." smirked Alex.

"Oh yes. I'll have a good time." replied Sean with mischief in his eyes.

What was he thinking? What did he even mean? I wondered.
