Soyoo's P.O.V.
"There's an old saying still famous today. Sometimes something greater than anything that has ever existed gives men the opportunity to make one of their wishes come true. It's not for them to know when that happens. It just happens..." Ms. Ha repeating those words like they were some kind of chant was really starting to annoy me.
It was nealy time to go home, and that day my brain was probably going to explode because of the amount of ridiculous stuff that had happened.
Mother not caring for me aside... Firstly, meeting a random - but, ok, quite attractive and polite, if not a creep - stranger who made me the main target of people's attention. As if I was not already visible because of my height. Then, my best friend asking me everything I knew about Jeonghun.
It still feels weird not to call him Oppa... even if he is older. But, he acts so childishly! How can I?And he didn't even seem to care that I did not use the honorific.
When I told her that I had just met him that day, she looked at me like I was a criminal and told me I was lying only because I 'finally met a guy who makes me talk more than one of those idols.'
"It's SO not like that, Eun!", I told her during lunch break.
"Hmm~" She had a sparkle in her eyes. I knew what she was really thinking.
"Please, stop looking everywhere to find a date. I'm not that desperate. I'm totally fine even without a guy. School is more important, you know."
Her hand just shoved away my words, and she kept saying "Sure, sure, and I am Jaebum's secret girlfriend."
"Good for you, then" I said, not even considering the joke, swallowing the last piece of my apple and taking my books back on the desk. "I do not intend on repeating that..."

My mood became even worse just remembering that last time I ever believed someone and his feelings. Definitively not going to do that again.
Eunjoon noticed that, and stopped behaving a fool.
"Ok, ok, I'm sorry..." She did not want to think again about that, too, one event that strangely did not involve my mother. It was all about me trying to fit in the society, failing miserably and being forever haunted...
"But, Soyoo, this could be your break free from believing that there is no one else for you, except K-Pop, you know?" Eunjoon said, as she went back to ther seat.
Whatever.
"...and people can believe in it or not. Some call them "miracles", other would just ignore their myth. It's just a great legend, and some say that if that happens, only the true realisation of one's wish can be the key to unlock the Great's decision, since he or she blessed you with its attention", Ms. Ha said.
Finally the bell rang, before she could even add other nonsense to the whole historical package.
"Class dismissed for today. Please keep in mind that I will ask about Kim JiSeok's book "When flowers bloom" during tomorrow's lesson."
I quickly put my books back, and hurried outside. I needed air. Eunjoon would have catched up with me quickly, so I did not even bother to wait for her. As soon as I opened the classroom's door, my heart sank.
I saw Jeonghun in his great height coming from the right corridor.
I was so not in the mood for bumping into him, but it was not even time for me to be that stupid and wait like a little girl for a problem to pass by.
