CHAPTER 14 : Family

Minhyuk's P.O.V.

Once we finished talking with Yoongi-sunbaenim, it was already late in the afternoon.

We ended up eating lamb skewers with him in a near-by place, he spoke about his dongsaeng's mixtape that was still not released yet, and how even that younger boy struggled a lot even if he did not show it openly to the others.

I did not know J-Hope that much, Hyungwon-ie was closer to him than we were, but I related on a personal level once Yoongi said that.

Guessed it was a thing Yoongi had, appearing cold outside, but ready to silently be there when you needed help. Kinda like Shownu-hyung.

You never know how something affected you until you actually share it with someone, and that morning was the proof that I needed to open up more. As a metter of fact, telling him about my struggles helped me a lot.

Lately I had been feeling free and light headed maybe because of our first World Tour, which left us with such joy and content, that we were ready for the next plans.

But as Yoongi said, we may have felt so proud for what we had prepared, that we did not focus on our fans as we thought we did, and thus that lead us to feeling sad even if we were just announced that we had time to rest even before Korean holidays came.

Ah... Guess we were really selfish.

But, at the same time, how could I even blame ourselves? We simply wanted to give our all to our dearest fans. That is the number one thing to do for a singer.

"Oi, Minhyuk!" Hoseok said, as he put his arm around my neck, walking next to me while I held the umbrella. It started pouring out of nowhere, and luckily I had my backpack since that morning, where I put all useful stuff in case of bad weather. The members said it was not important and made me look like a tourist. Guessed that I could be in the right, for once.

We were going back to our dorm while rain came down.

Manager-nim sugested to give hints about that the next day, making our fans imagine about something great very close, while we prepared the stage for the next week. We wanted to announce our short period of rest, but at the same time we wanted to have fun, so different ideas came up during the meeting, and I was already hyped for them all.

"Yeah, yeah, but don't push, Hyung", I said, as I smiled.

"Hah! Who would have thought that we would have been reassured by Suga in person? Ah, he's such a good person. Also, we were born only eight days apart even if in the same year, did you know that? I'm still older, somehow", he started talking nonstop. It felt good to see him all back to his usual self.

"Sure, sure, whatever, Hyung", Kihyun said. He was walking next to me, trying to avoid rain with the umbrella Yoongi borrowed him, since he his manager picked him up with a car.

He ended up paying for us all, without even telling us. Yoongi was kind of pissed when Kihyun-ie sat back in his seat with the bill, and glared at him.

"It's not a big deal, Yoongi" Kihyun finished his coffee. Yoongi looked at him and said 'Why don't you ever let me offer something? I'm not this willing to pay even for my own members, for your notice.' 'You always say that, but if one of your boys says that he's hungry, you would buy something for sure. Don't be all tough, you' Kihyun said, as he gave Yoongi-sunbaenim a little pat pat on his leg.

"They really are close" was what I thought.

I looked at Kihyun again.

Just then I realised I did not even thank Kihyun for making us meet with his friend.
