My family was always very adventurous. We went on many hikes and camping trips. One day we were going on a road trip. We were driving in our yellow jeep. It was only the beginning of our trip but we were already a week's drive away from home. I had blue headphones on and they were connected to my red iPod Touch. I was nodding my head to the beat of "Pass Me By" by R5. I looked up at my older brother Joseph. He was busy texting on his iPhone while my parents talked about the trip. As I stared up at his curly brown hair I once again imagined a brown poodle on his head. I was twelve, while Joseph was eighteen. " you imagining a poodle on my head again sis?" "yep". We laughed and he started barking like a poodle. Then I looked out the window. We were on a totally deserted road, and we were driving on the edge of a canyon. It was a great view. I started fiddling with a loose string on my camouflage sweatshirt and staring down at my jeans. What can I say, I was an all-out tomboy. Then my bro started talking, " at least your straight, layered, red hair doesn't look like a poodle. Especially cuz of that blue streak." I laughed and flipped my hair in his face." Hey! It's not my fault your hair is curly and brown! It looks just like a curled up poodle! Haha!!" I said. Then the song on my iPod changed and the song, " As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber came on. I yelled, "EW" and skipped the song. My mom flipped her head back and yelled, " what's wrong?" as her long brown hair went in my dad's face at the same time he went over a pothole. He couldn't see so he made a sharp turn. To the left. He was supposed to turn right. OH NO! By the time I realized what was happening I was upside down. Our car was falling. My whole family started screaming as we flipped round and round toward the ground. "I guess this is the end of my adventurous life..." I thought. Then I shut my eyes.
