Ninjago MOVIE Part 2

"Koko? Lloyd's mom?"

"Yes. If it's about girls and high school, she knows that material." Master Wu scratched his chin. "One of which I do not understand." He chuckled. "She after all, is a female, and knows what a girl your age expects from you and so on, as I do not understand the rest."

"Uncle Wu's right! Now Jay, come on in, and have a seat!"Lloyd's mother smiled widely.

"So, Wu told me this is about girls, isn't it?"

Jay shyly nodded.

"Well, can I just guess right now, is it something to do with the high school upcoming dance?"

Jay looked away, biting his lip. "Yes." He said cautiously. 

"I promise I won't tell anyone." Koko leaned in. "Is it Kai's sister?"

Now Jay just couldn't hide it any longer, and his cheeks turned a deep shade of red. Koko nodded, taking his expression in.

"Hey, I have known Nya to be a very kind and caring person, and a great personality too. Do you think she likes you?" Lloyd's mom smiled kindly at Jay. 

"Well, I mean-what I mean is, when we fought Garmadon and escaped the castle, Nya was..." the young teen trailed off, his blue eyes downcast. "I really don't know."

"Lloyd felt like this, you know. Not for girls, but nervous about school."

"But how can I ask her out?" Jay finally blurted out.

"Just be you." Koko smiled one last time at Jay. "Do what you think is right."

A FEW DAYS LATER

"Alright, Jay, you can do this. You can do it." He kept reminding himself, as he walked down the hallway and to the gym where the dance was being held. His hands started sweating again, and he shook every step. Yep, Jay was a mess.

"So I was wondering, um, Kai, Cole, Lloyd, Zane and I are all going to the dance tonight, um, maybe you might want to join us..."
