Nya's POV

I have never felt so sick before. It was only a little extra rough training, but my head hurts so much I can't even think straight. As I said, I was training, I went to take a nap, and when I wake up, my head hurts like crazy, and I feel so sore. When I told him, even Master Wu didn't know what was going on. Kai certainly isn't helping. He comes into my room every two minutes and gives me a long lecture when I try to get a drink of water, or go to the bathroom. And then when I tell him I need to go, he walks me over to the bathroom. And then there's Jay. I know he's just trying to be nice and all, but as I've tried to make it clear with Kai, I can take care of myself.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Yes, come in."

I answered wearily.

Jay peeked through the door.

"What is it?"

"Well, I think Master Wu might have found a cure for you.

No POV

"Yes, Nya. There is a cure. But it is a rare plant found in Heroshies labyrinth."

Master Wu stroked his beard. 

"One of us will have to stay with Nya."

He looked around at the ninja.

"Zane, we will need you to come with us to the Labyrinth."

Zane nodded.

"I'll go."

Kai spoke up.

"Yeah, me too."

Cole agreed. 

"We'll find that cure as soon as we can."

He told Master Wu, determination in his expression

Lloyd glanced at their Master.

"Who will stay with Nya?"

"I will."

Jay stepped out.

"Good, Lloyd, we'll need you too. Everyone, to the bounty."

-Later-

"Jay? I don't feel so good."

Nya's face was unnaturally pale.

"What are you doing out of bed?"

He asked worriedly.

"I just wanted to stretch my legs."

Nya began to fall backwards. Jay rushed over to her and caught her in time. 

"You should have told me. I can help you, Nya. Tell me anything you need, and I'll get it for you."

Jay whispered softly to her.

"I don't want to be alone tonight."

Nya murmured.

"When we were kids, Kai used to sleep with me when I was scared..."

"Do you want to...um..sleep with me then?"

Jay's heart was pounding as he covered his sheets and got ready for bed. Nya was already asleep   in Jay's bed and Jay was getting into bed. He felt so nervous.

Calm down, Jay. You're only sharing a bed with her. 

But no matter how many times he told himself he was a nervous wreck. He then turned the lights out and he crawled in bed with her. As he laid down, Jay felt Nya's warmth in his bed and he gently stroked her hair and he pulled Nya closer to him so his face was an inch away from hers. Jay saw how peaceful Nya looked while sleeping, and brought her even closer. Now her head was resting on Jay's chest. At the same time jay felt exhilarated but he also felt comfort as Nya's head rested against his chest. He stared at her face. Jay realized that this was the person who he cared for the most, loved, and would do anything to make her happy. He leaned in and kissed her cheek. He pulled back, and continued to stare at her beautiful face until he fell asleep.
