Chapter 1

Amelia POV

Hello everyone. My name is Amelia Steel. I am 17 years old. I live in the U.S. studying along with my beloved brother Mel who is 19 yers old. Even though he is my cousin, i love him like my own brother. He nags every now and then like any other brother.

I lazily woke up from my dream and picked up the phone...
Its my bestie,oviously...like any other story (LOL)

"What is it, Kate?" I asked almost drawn by sleep again.

Kate is my bestie...since elementary. Yep...its a looooong time friendship. She is quite anonnoying though. Like waking me up from my beauty sleep..(ok..i should stop)

"What do you mean by 'what is it' ?"  She asked.

Huh...told you...

"I mean what do you want after ruining my sleep?" I asked again.

"Get up...you sleepy head....we are gonna be late for school." She said.

"School?" I asked in confusion.

"Its monday ...you idiot." She said.

"Ok..ok. What time is it? My table clock's battery is dead." I said looking at the table clock i had on my night stand. The time stucked on 1 am.

"............... you have a phone?"  She said and I immidiately cursed myself for being so stupid.

"Oh...yeah, right!" I said and put the phone in front of me to see the clock on my phone.

When i checked the time it was ..........7:45 am...school starts at 8!!

"Hello? you know the time now?"  
Kate said and I can feel her smirking on the other side of the phone.

"That means you are late too."
I said and let out a evil smirk..

"You think i am gonna wait for you and then get detention?
No..no...thats not happening. I already took the bus and now entering the class. Just felt like i should inform you." She said making me angry.

"How on earth are you my bestfriend?" I asked in disbelief.

"If I wasnt, I wouldnt care to wake you up, idiot. Bye." She said and cut the phone call off.

Ugh!!!! Why am i so stupid?? Why did i waste 5 mins while talking to her. Now i only have 10 mins.

Thank god, we dont have to wear uniforms.

I quickly wear my outfit. And Make-up???

Nah.....i am a tomboy...

I cant take the bus, because i am late, also the school is only 850 meters away from my house.......so...lets run!!

Dasi run run run!!

I didnt eat breakfast. I generally dont have an appetite in the morning, so i dont eat breakfast. Yeah...i know its not good for Health. Blah blah blah

I ran through the hallway to my class.

You might be wondering where my brother is and why he didnt wake me up...i will tell you that later.

Its 8:15 now. I bet my teacher is gonna scold at me. Its nothing new actually.

Huh..take a breath and enter the classroom...you can do it Amy (my nickname)...
I said to myself

Ok......

"May i come in, sir?" I said.

Everyone's attention is on me now. My class and who is our also math teacher Mr. A looked at me...

I gulped.

"Attention class, look what we have here... ...miss steel....our princess is walking in to our class....why are you all sitting like idiots....stand up and show the honor...."

Oh..no..
I thought.

Everyone started giggling.

"So whats your excuse today, miss Steel? Your dog ate your homework? Or something like that??" He said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Sorry, sir. I will not be late again." I said.

"You have been saying this for a long time, Miss." He said.

"I am sorry sir." I apologised again.

Mr. A sighed and told me to go to my seat.
