"When did you become a Christian?" a minister once asked a boy. "The day the bee stung Mother,"he replied. The minister thought that was strange so he asked him to explain.
"Well", said the boy. "I could not understand how Jesus' dying could save me. One day while on the porch a bee flew around me. I was afraid of bees and was sure he would sting me. I called Mother and she came out. When she saw the bee was about to sting me, she put her hand between my hand and the bee. The bee stung Mother and did not sting me.
Then I understood what the Lord Jesus had done for me. He had taken the punishment for sin in my place. What Mother had often tried to explain, I understood at last. I then believed on Jesus as my own Savior."
