Dear Diary,
A boy's family died in a mysterious fire last night. I think it might have some connection to what happened to Mum - I will look into it. Father says that he might come to live with us if nobody else steps forward to claim him. Father says that he'll pretend to be the boy's father's best friend and I said that would be fine. I'm worried though, I've never been around a normal boy before. What will he think of me? What will he think of my school? I'm such a mysterious girl and nobody likes that kind of person except my father. What if he finds out my secret? Or rather, my many secrets? And was the fire an 'electrical incident' like the newspaper said or was it something like what happened to Mum? I have lots to think about and I promise that I will write soon. Good Night!
