Chapter 1

Minghao's point of view

" We did a great job, guys!" We all clap our hands tiredly, I smile at my performance team leader's words of encouragement. While I wipe the sweat off my face, trying to prevent it from ruining the makeup or getting it in my eyes, I see three of the other members do the same, but one of them never fails to catch my eyes.

Jun pushes his hair back and opens a bottle of water, he drinks the water slowly and seductively, that or my mind is just making me see what I want to see. Either way, I feel like he's trying to make me feel things I'm not supposed to.

"Hyung? Hello ~" Shit, I was staring. I get back in my senses when I see Dino waving his hands in front of my face. "What were you looking at? Come on, we're about to look at the finishing product." He pulls my arm to the camera so we can watch the video. The performance team had just finished filming our music video for "Highlight".

Everyone gathers around the camera, since the screen isn't that big, the four of us cramp up next to each other to get a better view, unexpectedly, I feel an arm resting on my shoulder, I turn around to see Jun standing behind me, breathing heavily from all the hard work. I can feel his heartbeat on my body, why do I feel so hot and uncomfortable right now..

I decide to shrug it off for now and pay attention to the music video. The first few seconds are cool, when Jun starts singing the first lines of the song, I freaked out, why would he gaze into the camera like that? Who told him to sing TOO beautifully? Who is the hoe who told him to kill me?!

I'm gonna have a nosebleed, I swear.

Everyone tells the four us to focus on ourselves in the music video, to see if there are anything we can improve, obviously I didn't listen. Most of the time I was watching how smoothly Jun danced in the video, at this point I feel like a Chinese k-pop idol version of Yandere.

The music video ends and we're all happy about how it came out, at the same time, we're being recorded for the "Behind the scenes" video. I hope they didn't record the part where I turned red like a strawberry.

When everything is finally done, the staff compliments us and congratulates us. The four of us thank them in return.

Everybody starts cleaning up the set, I grab a water bottle and begin gulping down the water, "You did a great before." I hear Jun say, he pats my back and winks at me as he makes his way past me, causing me to smile to myself. He leaves me sitting here alone in a blushing mess, as usual, but I like it.
